Every day cleaning chemicals contain harmful chemicals that we may be unaware of. The overall goal of cleaning is to have a clean and healthy environment for our family or businesses. We use cleaning products that promise to make our homes cleaner, more sterile, smell better which they actually do. We remove the germs and minimize viruses and bacteria, but in the process, we inhale toxic chemicals and expose our loved ones unknowingly.

How do we work to trade in our hazardous cleaning products for natural green products? The chemicals found in common cleaning products can have many negative impacts, including contributing to asthma, cancer, and increased birth defects, according to the Environmental Working Group’s (EWG) Cleaning Supplies and Your Health. With the potential negative impact of current chemicals in cleaning products, the need for green cleaning is necessary. The increasing popularity of “being green” has caused many companies to see this as an opportunity to capitalize on its popularity.  Green washing is causing a lot of distrust in the idea of being green and may sway consumers to continue to use the products they are comfortable with, which may include toxic ingredients. Also, many companies do not fully disclose their ingredients, which makes evaluation about the health and environmental impacts difficult.

Every day cleaning products may contain toxic ingredients. For example, butyl cellosolve can be found in many spray cleaners, and all-purpose cleaners. Despite being found in common products, the products still continue to be used. Butyl cellosolve can irritate the mucous membranes and cause liver and kidney damage.

Using natural green products, inflict minimal or no harm on the environment. Green brands can help to push for a cleaner environments, such as Method products. Along with the products being naturally derived, the company also works to make sure every bottle they design goes through a rigorous process to ensure that it’s as green as possible. The goal is not to advertise for companies but to choose products that work best for my clients.

In the end, the use of green products is one certain solution to save our planet and ourselves. Going green as we maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of our homes and businesses can lessen pollution, health problems, and climate change and save water, petroleum and trees. It will also reduce the amount of waste produced by commercial manufacturers too.

Being a green cleaning certified company will benefit me as an individual and as company. I know that after finishing this course I will have a new point of view and I want to apply this program in my company. It will collaborate with the eco-system no using tons of chemicals and non biodegradable products that are unacceptable and causing effects, increasing risks of cancer and implicating in chronic health problems.

We are aware of risks and damages and we are not going to contribute with this the dangerous chemical industry anymore.

Using green cleaning products It will reduce the company costs, risks of illness from my cleaning crews or customers related to chemicals components that we can find in regular products.

At Green Bright Cleaning Service, we do more than just clean.  We do our part in being custodians to the planet as well.  We care about having a healthier home, work environment and planet.  That’s why we take great care into not only selecting the most effective green cleaning products, but also selecting the most eco-friendly tools as well.  We consider each tool we use to ensure that it’s recycled or recyclable, reusable, biodegradable, compostable, environmentally friendly, non-toxic and/or sustainable.  To us, a “green” company isn’t just about using “green” chemicals, but it’s about considering all categories of being green in every aspect of our business.

Most importantly, we wouldn’t consider using products in someone’s home or office without testing them first.  And not only do we test them, we use them in our home as well.  That’s how much we believe the products we use are safer and healthier than traditional cleaning products.

Green Bright Cleaning Service truly believes in understanding issues about toxic chemicals and how they affect humans and the environment.  That’s why we believe it’s important to maintain a level excellence by acquiring a level of knowledge above and beyond a typical cleaning company.  At our company level, we believe it’s important to maintain a Green Cleaning Certification as a member of International Janitorial Cleaning Services Association.  This allows us to keep up with standards and green practices.  We monitor and keep track of environmental issues and incorporate new practices as needed.  At the staff level, we proudly train our staff in green practices, cleaning techniques and safety.  Each employee is provided educational materials and undergoes training to ensure they provide the best and safest experience for our customers.

Having a clean home doesn’t have to mean having a toxic home.  Green Bright Cleaning Service brings superior cleaning, excellent customer service, and healthier environments together into a solid  foundation for which all companies should strive.

Did you know that mold poses dangerous health risks, that it can extensively damage your building, and that it can even drive your property value down?

If you see mold in your building, you really can’t afford not to hire a professional to remove it.  There is no price on your health, and continued exposure to mold can lead to devastating repercussions, including coughing, wheezing, bronchitis, and even pneumonia.  For someone with a compromised respiratory or immune system, this could prove fatal!

In addition to the mold you can see, there is likely patches growing in hidden places - behind walls, underneath carpets, in basements, attics, and closets. If you experience any sort of flooding, leakage, or spill, mold can start growing within as little as 24 hours. As dangerous as mold is, it is never wise to rely on do-it-yourself methods to manage it.  You really need a mold remediation specialist!

Mold re-mediators do more than simply removing the mold from your home.  They identify the source of the mold, which is essential to prevent it from coming back.  If you have any kind of moisture leak, defective ventilation system, or standing water issues, you are at risk for continued mold growth.  An initial cleaning alone will not solve the problem.  It is vital that you allow a mold remediation professional to locate the source of the mold, eliminate the source of its growth, and then to establish a successful preventative program.

Are you still not convinced that you need to hire a professional?  Consider this – no matter how thoroughly you clean the area where mold has been found, you have no way of knowing if the airborne mold spores have truly been eliminated.  Professional mold re-mediators utilize High Efficiency Particulate Arrestor (HEPA) vacuums to ensure that all residual mold particles are gone.  The filters in regular vacuums will not sufficiently pick up mold spores and can even serve to spread them.  Additionally, you probably have limited knowledge on the safety practices and precautions of treating mold infestation.  By following EPA approved safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), professional mold re-mediators ensure the safety of all individuals in your home, including the workers removing it.

There truly is no substitute for hiring an IJCSA certified mold remediation specialist.  Don’t wait for your mold problem to destroy your property and your health.  See our IJCSA directory below and remove the problem at its source!
