The only chemical I have used in the past, is Mold Armor. And I have to admit I hated the smell and the experience. We still had to do it monthly for 3 months before we saw any results. And we did use the steamer finally and that worked really well for a while but soon it made the issue worse, got to love being the lowest on the totem pole.

So, my goal is to offer move in and move out cleaning services, so in my shoes, I'm seeking the knowledge and experience to tackle the filth of the house and be able to clean a shower or a Fridge knowing that when I'm done with it, it truly is the cleanest it can be.

But on the other hand, this course will give my company the knowledge to know when something is too much, because we have to be honest with the customer, and we need to be able to speak with clarity about what is at hand. And let's face it yes, I'm seeking the biohazard cleaning certificate but that's because every house in America is a crime scene, at the end of the day.

Bloodborne pathogens are infectious microorganisms present in blood that can cause disease in humans. These pathogens can be transmitted through contact with blood or other potentially infectious bodily fluids, such as urine, feces, and saliva, in healthcare settings, laboratories, and other environments where exposure to blood is common. Examples of bloodborne pathogens include HIV, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C, among others.

Exposure to bloodborne pathogens poses significant health risks, and it is important for individuals to take necessary precautions to protect themselves. Healthcare workers, first responders, and other professionals who may come into contact with blood are at heightened risk for exposure. Proper training on bloodborne pathogens, use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to safety protocols, such as handwashing and disposal of contaminated materials, are essential to prevent infection and minimize risks.

In healthcare settings, bloodborne pathogen exposure is a major concern, as healthcare workers frequently handle blood and bodily fluids. Employers are required to implement safety measures to protect employees from occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens. This includes providing training on bloodborne pathogens, offering vaccines for Hepatitis B, and ensuring the availability of personal protective equipment. By following proper procedures and guidelines, individuals can protect themselves and others from the dangers of bloodborne pathogens.

Everyday cleaning products often contain toxic chemicals like ammonia and chlorine, which can pose serious health risks, such as respiratory issues and skin irritations. Additionally, these chemicals release volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into the air, further compromising indoor air quality. Over time, exposure to these chemicals can lead to chronic health conditions, making conventional cleaning agents a potential hazard in our daily lives.

The environmental impact of conventional cleaning chemicals is also significant. Many of these products are non-biodegradable and can contaminate water sources, harming aquatic life and ecosystems. For example, sodium lauryl sulfate, a common ingredient in cleaning agents, is toxic to aquatic organisms. By continuing to use these products, we contribute to environmental degradation and the depletion of natural resources.

In contrast, natural green cleaning products are made from plant-based ingredients and are free from harmful chemicals. These products are biodegradable, non-toxic, and safe for both humans and the environment. Ingredients like vinegar, baking soda, and essential oils provide effective cleaning without the adverse health effects associated with conventional chemicals. Using natural green products improves indoor air quality, reduces health risks, and supports a healthier living environment.

Switching to green cleaning products also offers economic and social benefits. While they may have a higher upfront cost, they are often more cost-effective in the long run due to their concentrated formulas and reduced need for frequent replacements. Supporting green cleaning products promotes sustainable practices and encourages the development of eco-friendly innovations, contributing to a healthier planet.

For those looking to switch to green cleaning, the IJCSA Green Cleaning Directory is an invaluable resource. The International Janitorial Cleaning Services Association (IJCSA) provides a comprehensive directory of certified green cleaning services and products. By choosing IJCSA-certified services, individuals and businesses can ensure they are using safe and effective green cleaning products, contributing to a cleaner and greener world.
