Understanding the importance of employees & staff knowing about bloodborne pathogens. First, we must understand what a Bloodborne pathogens is. Bloodborne pathogens are pathogenic microorganisms that are present in human blood and can cause disease in humans. Within the workplace, staff can be placed in situations where they may be at higher risk for exposure.
Thus the importance of understanding the following key points to increase precaution and enhancing tools in preventing serious illness and/or death. This training is to help individual cleaning staff enhance their skills with the information and have a clear understanding of their responsibilities in the workplace.
