Cleaning up mold is a very profitable business, averaging $150 per square foot. This business is safe from recession, because there will always be flooding, water damage, and mold concerns that need to be fixed. Having completing a mold certification program, I will feel confident in my abilities to offer this service, and my clients will have peace of mind as well.

I will need to purchase equipment. I will need a moisture meter, an extraction unit on a truck mount, fans and dehumidifiers, a lot of PPE, and a service van. I will feel good knowing that I am helping people to live healthier lives and to feel better.

Cleaning companies that have completed the mold remediation training program are knowledgeable in their field. Not only doing inspections and identifying mold, but also removing the mold contamination. Mold can be very dangerous to the people that live, or work, in the area and needs to be dealt with quickly, and efficiently, so that it does not return.

If it is a small mold problem, less than 10 square feet, you are probably okay to take care of the contamination yourself. However if it is large, especially over 100 square feet, or the mold contamination has been an issue for a long time, you are much better off to go ahead and call a professional to come remediate for you.

If you are in need of a cleaning company that has been trained in mold remediation, see the following flood damage directory:

The mold cleaning product I have used the most, with good results, is white distilled vinegar. The EPA does not recommend using bleach, except in special cases where the resident is immune compromised.  Vinegar will take care of most molds and prevent them from returning. Bleach only kills the mold on the surface.  It will return, and the mold will also embed itself deeper into the porous surface. White vinegar has 5% acidity. You can also use “cleaning vinegar” which just as a slightly higher acidity level, at 6%.

As a biohazard cleaning professional, it is essential to understand the risks associated with bloodborne pathogens. Bloodborne pathogens are infectious microorganisms that can cause disease when present in human blood. These pathogens include hepatitis B and C, HIV, and other viruses that can cause serious illness or death. Exposure to bloodborne pathogens can occur in any workplace where employees may come into contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials. For this reason, it is crucial that employees and staff are trained on the proper procedures for handling potentially contaminated materials and how to protect themselves and others from exposure.

One of the primary reasons why cleaning employees and staff must know about bloodborne pathogens is to prevent the spread of disease. Bloodborne pathogens can spread through contact with contaminated blood or other bodily fluids. If an employee or staff member is not properly trained on how to handle potentially contaminated materials, they can unknowingly spread the infection to others. This can have severe consequences, especially in healthcare settings where patients may already be compromised. Proper training on bloodborne pathogens can help prevent the spread of disease and protect both employees and patients.

Another reason why cleaning employees and staff must know about bloodborne pathogens is to comply with government regulations. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requires that employers provide training to employees who may be exposed to blood or other potentially infectious materials. This training must cover the proper use of personal protective equipment, such as gloves and face shields, as well as safe handling and disposal of contaminated materials. Failure to comply with these regulations can result in fines and other penalties.

In conclusion, the importance of cleaning employees and staff knowing about bloodborne pathogens cannot be overstated. Proper training can help prevent the spread of disease, protect both employees and patients, and ensure compliance with government regulations. It is essential for employers to provide comprehensive training on bloodborne pathogens to all employees who may come into contact with potentially contaminated materials. By doing so, we can create a safer and healthier work environment for everyone.

Hi, I'm Elizabeth and I am the owner of CT Cleaning Professionals. My company is founded on three main principles. Passion. Trust. Professionalism.

Ever since I was a little girl, I remember helping my grandmother clean her home. It was joyous to me, to be able to assist her. The smell of lemon pledge and dawn dish soap in the air, brings back memories that I will cherise forever. Helping others brings a level of satisfaction like no other. For someone to applaud your hard work, and truly appreciate you for bringing them a sense of peace is a gratifying experience.

I am looking for other individuals that feel that same way. To integrate such people into the professional world, into the culture of closeness and relaxation that I aim to provide for those within my company would be a dream come true.

CT Cleaning Professionals, is not only a professional cleaning service. My vision is that out office space will harbor a fun, team building environment that will serve as a happy space for my employees and that I can compensate those who serve our community under my name above and beyond for the work that they put into this business.

Bloodborne pathogens are infectious microorganisms that can be found in human blood and other bodily fluids, such as semen and vaginal secretions. These pathogens can cause serious and sometimes deadly diseases, such as HIV, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C. Due to the potential risks associated with exposure to these pathogens, it is essential for cleaning employees and staff to be knowledgeable about bloodborne pathogens and how to prevent their spread.

The cleaning industry involves a lot of contact with potentially contaminated surfaces and materials, such as blood, bodily fluids, and medical waste. Cleaning employees and staff are therefore at a higher risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens if proper precautions are not taken. By providing education and training on bloodborne pathogens, employees can learn how to properly handle and dispose of potentially infectious materials, use protective equipment and follow appropriate protocols to minimize their exposure to pathogens.

In addition to protecting employees from exposure to bloodborne pathogens, educating cleaning staff on these pathogens can also help protect the public from potential infection. Cleaning staff have the opportunity to prevent the spread of bloodborne pathogens by ensuring that potentially contaminated surfaces are properly cleaned and disinfected. This is especially important in environments such as hospitals, clinics, and other medical facilities, where patients are already vulnerable to infection. By providing comprehensive education and training on bloodborne pathogens, cleaning employees and staff can help promote a safer and healthier environment for all.

Choosing a great cleaning company and its advantages! When hiring a cleaning service company, it is widespread to look first at a price before those that assure us experience and professionalism, doing a rigorous job. The choice of the right cleaning company, since poor hygiene in our work environment, could lead to considerable economic losses.

Every Company needs a good cleaning service; the more significant the Company, the greater the need. The facilities must be clean to generate trust among the customers who visit us. Just as a good Residential Cleaning Service keeps our home with optimal hygiene, the right cleaning services company will do it in our Company.

Although it may seem that to dedicate yourself to cleaning labor, no qualification is necessary, and it is something that anyone can do. Having an objective professional cleaning team in our Company can even avoid frequent problems such as sick leave caused by poor hygiene, which in the long term translates into increased company expenses.

Depending on the area of development of our Company or business, the attention paid to sanitation and cleaning should be of greater or lesser rigor.

For example, choosing a good cleaning company in businesses dedicated to childcare, or food, is an absolute priority. Since they are sectors where poor hygiene will cause greater havoc to the industry, avoiding infections or diseases and complying with the health controls that must be accredited in any business are recommended.
