Great customer service is in the name itself, customer service. Customer service is about providing certain services to meet the customers needs.  Customer service can be as simple as a friendly smile or going above and beyond customer satisfaction.

Having great customer service can not only increase profitability but help increase customer satisfaction. Just like in the video the 3 things in good customer service is that the customer wants to be heard, understood, and cared for. Customer service includes listening to the customer, emphasize with the customer, and following up with the customer even if they had a bad experience.

It is always important to not only take care of patients but also taking care of yourself in any medical profession.  Blood born pathogens like HIV, HBV, or AIDS are serious risk to any health professional because they can be contracted by several means of exposure.

PPE or BSI should always be a number one priority for health care workers not only when dealing with patients but also when dealing with clean up or any other time that a worker may come in contact with BBP.  This is also why it is important for a worker to know what guidelines there employer recommends and knowing the different chemicals used for cleaning up BBP such as blood or vomit.

OSHA enforces many regulations whey it comes to dealing with the clean up and the disposal of any contaminated items.  This is why it is important for workers to know the standards that are in place to keep them safe in all situations dealing with BBP.

In today's environmentally conscious world, obtaining a green cleaning certification can significantly benefit both your company and you as an individual. Green cleaning certification, such as those offered by the International Janitorial Cleaning Services Association (IJCSA), ensures that your cleaning practices meet stringent environmental and health standards. This certification not only enhances your company's reputation but also contributes to a healthier and more sustainable environment.

One of the primary benefits of being green cleaning certified is the improvement in indoor air quality. Traditional cleaning products often contain harsh chemicals that can release volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into the air, leading to respiratory issues and other health problems. By using certified green cleaning products, you reduce the presence of these harmful chemicals, creating a safer and healthier environment for employees, clients, and yourself. This is particularly important in settings such as schools, healthcare facilities, and offices where indoor air quality can significantly impact occupants' well-being.

Moreover, green cleaning certification demonstrates your commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. Certified green cleaning products are typically biodegradable, non-toxic, and made from renewable resources, reducing their environmental impact. By adopting green cleaning practices, you contribute to the conservation of natural resources and the reduction of pollution. This commitment to sustainability can enhance your company's public image, attracting eco-conscious clients and partners who value environmentally responsible businesses. Additionally, being listed in the IJCSA Green Cleaning Directory can help you connect with potential clients who prioritize green cleaning services.

Lastly, green cleaning certification can lead to cost savings in the long run. While green cleaning products may initially seem more expensive, they often prove to be more cost-effective over time due to their concentrated formulas and reduced need for frequent replacements. Furthermore, by reducing the use of harmful chemicals, you minimize the risk of health-related issues and potential liabilities, leading to lower healthcare costs and insurance premiums. As an individual, being green cleaning certified can also open up new career opportunities in the growing field of sustainable cleaning services.

In conclusion, obtaining a green cleaning certification offers numerous benefits for both your company and you as an individual. From improving indoor air quality and demonstrating environmental responsibility to achieving cost savings and enhancing your professional prospects, green cleaning certification is a valuable investment. By protecting the population and the world from harmful chemicals, you contribute to a healthier and more sustainable future.

Medical cleaning practices are designed to maintain sanitary, germ-free environments in healthcare facilities, but these same techniques can be applied to residential and commercial cleaning for enhanced safety and hygiene. By implementing hospital-grade disinfection, proper sanitation protocols, and infection control measures, cleaning professionals can significantly reduce the spread of harmful bacteria, viruses, and germs in homes, offices, schools, and other public spaces. In today’s world, where pathogen prevention is critical, adapting healthcare cleaning standards to everyday cleaning routines ensures a healthier environment for everyone.

One of the most important aspects of medical-grade cleaning is the use of EPA-registered disinfectants that are proven to eliminate harmful microorganisms. High-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, countertops, and office equipment should be cleaned frequently to reduce the risk of cross-contamination. Additionally, using color-coded microfiber cloths and mops helps prevent the spread of bacteria from one area to another. By integrating these practices, residential cleaning services can provide a higher level of protection for families, while commercial janitorial services can ensure workplaces remain safe and productive.

Another key component of healthcare cleaning that translates well into other environments is proper personal protective equipment (PPE) usage. Wearing gloves, masks, and protective eyewear while cleaning helps protect cleaning staff from exposure to hazardous chemicals and infectious agents. HEPA-filtered vacuums and eco-friendly cleaning solutions can also improve indoor air quality, reducing allergens and respiratory risks in homes and businesses. By adopting these best practices, cleaning professionals can help create cleaner, safer, and more sustainable environments while protecting vulnerable populations from illness and disease.

For those seeking professional health-conscious cleaning services, the IJCSA Janitorial Services Directory provides a trusted resource for finding certified green cleaning professionals trained in medical-grade sanitation techniques. Whether you are a homeowner looking to keep your living space germ-free or a business owner in need of high-quality janitorial services, hiring professionals with expertise in infection control and deep cleaning can make a significant difference. By applying healthcare cleaning standards to everyday cleaning routines, we can help protect communities, reduce the spread of harmful pathogens, and promote a healthier world

It is important for cleaning staff to be knowledgeable of bloodborne pathogens. This is a great course of study and raises the awareness of how to control and minimize your exposure to pathogens. It increases safety and health precautions and the potential spread of infectious materials.

First aid and how to address potential exposure is equally as important. This course provides this information along with the correct protocols to follow. Knowing you have the right procedures in place is essential for being compliant with OSHA and protecting your staff.

Believe it or not, you are likely to encounter situations where this information and training are very relevant in the cleaning industry. The truth is needles and other sharp objects are not limited to hospitals and medical centers. We come across in-home healthcare and medications that are used with the disabled, seniors, and medical conditions where patients are allowed to self administer medications. So educating yourself about bloodborne pathogens is definitely something someone should not overlook.
