Most importantly, we wouldn’t consider using products in someone’s home or office without testing them first.  And not only do we test them, we use them in our home as well.  That’s how much we believe the products we use are safer and healthier than traditional cleaning products.

Green Bright Cleaning Service truly believes in understanding issues about toxic chemicals and how they affect humans and the environment.  That’s why we believe it’s important to maintain a level excellence by acquiring a level of knowledge above and beyond a typical cleaning company.  At our company level, we believe it’s important to maintain a Green Cleaning Certification as a member of International Janitorial Cleaning Services Association.  This allows us to keep up with standards and green practices.  We monitor and keep track of environmental issues and incorporate new practices as needed.  At the staff level, we proudly train our staff in green practices, cleaning techniques and safety.  Each employee is provided educational materials and undergoes training to ensure they provide the best and safest experience for our customers.

Did you know that mold poses dangerous health risks, that it can extensively damage your building, and that it can even drive your property value down?

If you see mold in your building, you really can’t afford not to hire a professional to remove it.  There is no price on your health, and continued exposure to mold can lead to devastating repercussions, including coughing, wheezing, bronchitis, and even pneumonia.  For someone with a compromised respiratory or immune system, this could prove fatal!

In addition to the mold you can see, there is likely patches growing in hidden places - behind walls, underneath carpets, in basements, attics, and closets. If you experience any sort of flooding, leakage, or spill, mold can start growing within as little as 24 hours. As dangerous as mold is, it is never wise to rely on do-it-yourself methods to manage it.  You really need a mold remediation specialist!

Mold re-mediators do more than simply removing the mold from your home.  They identify the source of the mold, which is essential to prevent it from coming back.  If you have any kind of moisture leak, defective ventilation system, or standing water issues, you are at risk for continued mold growth.  An initial cleaning alone will not solve the problem.  It is vital that you allow a mold remediation professional to locate the source of the mold, eliminate the source of its growth, and then to establish a successful preventative program.

Are you still not convinced that you need to hire a professional?  Consider this – no matter how thoroughly you clean the area where mold has been found, you have no way of knowing if the airborne mold spores have truly been eliminated.  Professional mold re-mediators utilize High Efficiency Particulate Arrestor (HEPA) vacuums to ensure that all residual mold particles are gone.  The filters in regular vacuums will not sufficiently pick up mold spores and can even serve to spread them.  Additionally, you probably have limited knowledge on the safety practices and precautions of treating mold infestation.  By following EPA approved safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), professional mold re-mediators ensure the safety of all individuals in your home, including the workers removing it.

There truly is no substitute for hiring an IJCSA certified mold remediation specialist.  Don’t wait for your mold problem to destroy your property and your health.  See our IJCSA directory below and remove the problem at its source!

Its very important for cleaning employees and staff to know the importance about bloodborne pathogens. Bloodborne pathogens are pathogenic microorganisms that are present in human blood and other body fluids and can cause disease in humans. Bloodborne pathogens can be contracted or to come in contact by blood, mucous membrane, saliva and other body fluids and/or cuts, abrasions, human bites or needle sticks. Wearing proper personal protective equipment at all times helps minimize the exposure of bloodborne pathogens. Make sure that all infectious materials are properly disposed of with labels or color coded. If exposed to potentially bloodborne pathogens, make sure that the affected area is properly disinfected and reported to the supervisor then followed up by your healthcare provider immediately after initial exposure. Its good to be educated about bloodborne pathogens and infectious disease to minimize the exposure. As stated, wearing your personal protective equipment is the first line of defense.

Running a business, especially a small to medium size business, requires constantly pursuing a stellar reputation.  In the cleaning business, making sure that the actual cleaning job is done is extremely important, but ensuring that the customer is 100% satisfied is the number one priority.

When advertising as a green company, the organization members have to know how to green clean.  Otherwise, clients who expect the use of certain cleaning agents, and also non-use of some others, may be disappointed if the wrong products are used.  Green cleaning certification provides the information that will allow cleaning companies to choose the correct materials to green clean.

In addition, being a green cleaning certified company is a feel-good step for business owners.  Helping people with their cleaning projects while contributing to saving our Earth is an impactful feeling.  It makes me as a business owner feel like I am contributing to protecting the environment and to the global movement of saving Earth and our civilization from its doom.

Finally, green certification has helped me to learn about harmful chemicals that I as an individual am now staying away from to help my own self.  I do not want to get sick, and the certification has taught me about specific chemicals to look for in cleaning materials and in other items, that can cause various ailments.  I now know to avoid those chemicals, and this will have a positive effect on my own personal health and on the health of my family.
