They're back to their dirty old tricks.

The city's Department of Education has continued to privatize the cleaning of dozens of its public schools through no-bid contracts -- despite a 2004 court order forbidding the practice, a lawsuit charges.

The DOE once again violated competitive-bidding rules by handing over tens of millions of dollars in custodial contracts to the cleaning agency Temco Service Industries, charges Robert Troeller, president of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 891.

The DOE lost a similar battle seven years ago when a state Supreme Court justice nullified $60 million worth of contracts with Temco and Johnson Controls because of a failure to bid out the deals.

TAMPA - The inside of a meth lab is filled with hazardous and potentially explosive chemicals. Iodine, ammonia, and lithium are just some of the ingredients used, and often, they are exposed to the open air haphazardly. Worse still, meth labs are often run out of homes, trailers, and hotel rooms.

Video provided to the I-Team by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement shows just how bad the inside of a meth lab gets. The video shows a home in complete disrepair, with beakers, chemicals, and debris covering every inch of the floor. Law enforcement is seen wearing respirators just to safely get inside.

The James City County Fire Department responded to the park just after 2 p.m. for a report of a patient having difficulty breathing, according to JCCFD spokesman Joe Riley. The first units on the scene found multiple patients being treated for respiratory issues by Busch Gardens' staff.

Ten patients - all employees of the Trappers Smokehouse restaurant in the park's New France area - were evaluated, with four transported to Williamsburg Sentara Regional Medical Center for additional evaluation. No further information about the patients' condition was immediately available.
