Bloodborne pathogens are very infectious microorganisms that are present in the blood that can cause disease in humans.

An employer is required by law to provide bloodborne pathogen training to their employees and staff. This will ensure that the employees understand how to use safe practices when handling hazardous materials, such as bodily fluids, blood and vomit.

The bloodborne pathogen include hepatitis B and C, as well as HIV. Once you train your employees on bloodborne pathogens they will better understand the employers responsibility to provide them with person protective equipment.
