Bloodborne Pathogens

It is important to know about bloodborne pathogens.  Cleaning employees and staff should know about bloodborne pathogens for their health and well-being.  Bloodborne pathogens can carry diseases such as HBV and HIV, that can be potentially fatal.

As a cleaning professional it is vitally important to follow the policy and procedures for cleaning areas where bloodborne pathogens are present.  As I adhere to the strict standards set forth, the areas I clean will be rid of contaminants and potential bloodborne pathogens.  This will make it safe for employees and patients alike.

Knowing about the safety measures put in place by the CDC and OSHA will help me effectively do my job.  Not only will the job be done properly, but it will make a safe environment for all who use the facility.  Lastly, this important information can be shared with family and friends to promote their safety and well-being, also.
