18 Oct 2023 2:12 PM | Deleted user

Medical cleaning practices can be used in residential and commercial situations because it teaches you how to apply the appropriate PPE which is the first and most important part especially when cleaning.

Residential and commercial facilities do not carry as high of a risk of disease or bacteria spreading since its not a medical facility however these places all have restrooms, and if these restrooms are public that can make the potential risk a bit higher.

All restrooms have high risk surface areas such as the light switch, faucets, and toilet seats. Another common high risk surface area are door handles which are touched the most in any facility.

Making sure you and you employees are practicing the correct way to apply PPE, disposing of all contaminated or soiled items in the properly labeled bags according to OSHA standards, doing these things will keep the spread of germs bacteria and disease at your workplace.

Employees should always be wearing gloves mask and goggles to prevent back splash from chemical cleaning solutions or dirty water from getting in your eyes nose and mouth.
