What Makes Customer Service Great?

What is great customer service? How we define customer service is a way of assisting and advising individuals who wish to either buy our products or use our services. In customer service we do everything possible to meet our customers needs and demands. We simply follow the motto ‘Whatever makes the customer happy’ rather than ‘The Customer is Always Right’. While many would argue with this narrative I feel the first is better because sometimes the customer may not know what they are doing and are reaching out for help. It is important when dealing with a customer to show them empathy, compassion, provide knowledge and attention as well as that you are listening to them and care about what they have to say. You should always show the customer respect and that you are reliable enough for them to trust not only in your business but also you as a worker. 

When operating a janitorial or cleaning service providing good customer service is critical to the success of our business. The International Janitorial Cleaning Services Association as well as its members keen themselves on making their customers happy. In my time I have never seen so many businesses and companies who care deeply about their clients as all members at IJCSA do.
