Second Nature Cleaning is proud to be IJCSA Green Cleaning Certified! We have worked hard to implement a green cleaning program that ensures our services are gentle on our client’s homes and kind to the planet. Here is how we plan to implement our services: 

Transparency: We have dedicated a section of our website to green cleaning. Here, our clients and interested parties can read what we use during our services. Common ingredients include baking soda, vinegar, and essential oils, which are all proven to be safe and effective in home cleaning. 

Implementation: We will be proactive in making sure our staff are equipped with the knowledge needed to conduct green cleaning. We will emphasize the importance of green cleaning for human health and environmental reasons. Similarly, they will understand how green cleaning protects them against toxic chemicals that are often used by traditional cleaners. 

We believe that any good cleaning company should have systems. We will have thorough checklists that cover all areas of the home, and the correct methods for cleaning each space. This will create consistency that is needed for running an effective cleaning company. 

Education: Our final goal as a cleaning company is to educate our community about sustainability and the importance of non-toxic cleaning. Once we become more established, we would love to provide free resources for our community to reference, as well as workshops for making green cleaners. We also intend to spread awareness about our business at community events like Farmer’s Markets.
