Carpet cleaning utilization in my business, benefits of IJCSA carpet cleaners

22 Aug 2026 2:06 AM | Zachary Appel

I plan to use two carpet cleaning methods in my business. Between the two methods, one will serve to completely remove the maximum amount of soil from the carpet. The second method will also remove a lot of soil but when compared to the first method, will serve as carpet maintenance until the most effective method of carpet cleaning is utilized again.

The first method will be hot water extraction or steam cleaning. Through this method, pressurized cleaning solution and hot water will be injected into the carpet via carpet cleaning wand, where a high-powered vacuum will suction the dirty water up and release it into the carpet cleaning machine’s recovery tank where it can be properly disposed.

The second carpet cleaning method that will be utilized in the business will be encapsulation. This method uses a polymer pre-spray that encapsulates and then crystallizes soil in a carpet. The crystallized soil can be removed through normal vacuuming.

IJCSA’s carpet cleaning certification allows the association's members to have access to current and effective carpet cleaning knowledge.  Different carpet protection measures are discussed in the training, along with various ways to clean many types of carpet stains.
