The research is overwhelming when it comes to the many benefits of going green in your cleaning business.  The health of your family and the families that you clean for are just one of many reasons why everyone should take the time to learn more about the benefits of going green.  It takes a small group to make a very big difference.  The fact that the FDA does not require all chemicals to be listed on regular household cleaners is a very disturbing fact, we are all  breathing in toxins that we know nothing about and are also releasing them into our water and air which is ultimately  affecting our environment. Going green will allow us to know exactly what we are using, breathing and touching, reducing the chemical burns statistics and chronic conditions such as asthma and many others that we do not consider to be associated with our basic household cleaners.

   The COST of going green is one of my favorite benefits. You can create cleaners in your own home ( i.e lemon juice, vinegar, essential oils ). They are very effective and will cost you pennies on the dollar and are much safer for the surfaces that you are applying them to such as kitchen appliances, sinks, tubs, floors, windows and more, allowing you to preserve them longer.  Also most store bought green cleaners come in environmentally safe containers that are reusable and recyclable saving you money so your not paying for the name of the brand you are purchasing. 

  Taking the time to learn and utilizing the knowledge you gain from your research on going green, is a very rewarding benefit and a great start.
