Getting IJCSA Green Cleaning Certified is very important for WaterPro Environmental Service, because we need training to back up our claims of being extremely environmentally friendly.  We want to help our customers gain a better understanding of the chemistry involved in cleaning products.  We have knowledge to offer and a certification to back it up.

Although I have a background in chemical engineering, the program was very informative.  I will be able to take this knowledge back to WaterPro in order to better help customers facility cleaning.  Our focus is on providing a bacteria and virus free environment.

Cleaning plans are very important, because they document the needs of the facility.  Cleaning schedules are important, because a deep clean is not needed every day, but knowing when a deep clean is needed based on usage is important to properly schedule.  However, the most important part of the program is the chemistry to us.  With TwinOxide brand disinfectant, you can use an extremely dilute chemical with no known chemical toxicity.

We have been implementing green cleaning solutions, by asking our customers important questions.  Would you want your child to use this product?  Would you want that to end up on your food?  These important questions help to show the toxicity of the chemicals people are so commonly familiar with.  In some cases it takes coming outside of your comfort zone in order to understand the needs of the job.  

We are pushing disinfection more today than ever, because biological pathogens are the next war being fought and there are ways we can protect ourselves.  Having a clean and pathogen free environment is going to be the standard from here to come.  WaterPro was here before Covid-19 and we want to help implementation of plans to prevent absentism where possible.  Being Green certified means we are doing it in a sustainable way.
