Importance of cleaning employees & staff knowing about Bloodborne Pathogens

03 Aug 2020 6:12 AM | Anonymous

Now more than ever we as the owners, cleaners, and staff needs to take the utmost precaution precaution & preventive, measures when cleaning especially doing these time with the Coronavirus (Covid-19). Having a clean home or a clean business should be our 1st Priority, we all should have a nice clean and sanitized environment. That's why training is provided within this area, which is called the Bloodborne Pathogens.

Before letting any of the cleaning employees go and clean, I will make sure that each one of them had taken the certifications needed especially this one. Having the knowledge, guide, and map to know what to do when handling with human blood, vomit, or saliva. Which may have a disease that could be contracted from it just by not being careful. These disease can include HIV, HBV, and Hepatitis, these can be exposed through a cut or scrap on the skin, and also through nose, mouth and eyes.

That's following the right procedures and wearing the proper PPE can limit a chance of exposure and keeping everyone safe and healthy. At Cherish Lou Cleaning Service we take all the necessary precautions by wear shoe covers and changing them throughout cleaning the home/business. We wear face mask, wash hand throughout cleaning and properly disinfect the home or business. Everyone will be properly trained and certified!
