How You Can Implement Medical Cleaning Practices Into Other Residential And Commercial Cleaning Situations

09 Aug 2020 7:16 PM | Peter MacLean

Because proper cleaning of medical facilities is critical to the health and well being of so many people, it only makes sense to use the same cleaning practices in homes and other facilities.

Medical facility cleaning typically uses stronger disinfectants applied in a more thorough method than is typically used in standard cleaning practices. These same procedures and chemicals can be just as easily used in all cleaning situations. If medical facility cleaning procedures are widely used in all homes and buildings, it will provide a healthier living and work environment for everyone. By doing this, it will protect more people from contracting and spreading harmful diseases and viruses to others they may come in contact with in their daily lives.

It starts with choosing the correct chemical and then properly applying it, being aware of proper dwell time in order to kill viruses and germs on surfaces. Also, be aware of all high touch areas in the home or building being cleaned, and make sure these surfaces are correctly cleaned and disinfected, just as if you are cleaning a medical facility.

By following proper medical cleaning practices wherever you are cleaning, you can assure the health and well being of all who live or work in the building that is being cleaned. It is important to find properly trained cleaners, and this can be accomplished through the Janitorial Service Directory
