"How You Can Implement Medical Cleaning Practices Into Other Residential & Commercial Cleaning Situations". The bottoms line is that in todays cleaning environment. You must treat all situations as if you are dealing with multiple germs and viruses. I would say that you might find even worse situations away from the Medical Cleaning environment.

The first thing I believe you can add to your residential and commercial situations is the use of basic PPE. Gloves, Mask, and some type of gown. The gown can be reused if washed properly. I have found many times that this saves me from a messy situation. When I am done I am getting back into my vehicle and driving to another client. Stay clean.

I tend to clean all of the bathroom work as if it is a medical facility. Hundreds of people may be using the same facility. Keep it simple but clean. Keep yourself protected from all germs and viruses along with making sure you are doing the same for the client.

Remember most clients will not continue to clean up after themselves typically medical staff try to help keep things clean. You never know what kind of situation you may walk into. Treat all surfaces as if they are contaminated. Protect yourself and never cut corners with PPE or any other protection you  may choose to use. Bryan.

It is very important for all business sites / employers to require all employees to have the appropriate knowledge and know how to use universal precautions and PPE, as well as clean and follow proper protective practices to protect themselves and others. Minor overlooks can in turn cause a huge problem including getting the employees, guests, and clients sick. Another form of this negligence may result into a staff member, or someone else contracting a life-altering disease.

These errors are also called bloodborne pathogens, and some of them can be transferred through saliva, or other bodily fluids. This is why it is very important to wear the appropriate disposable gloves, and wash hands to elbows thoroughly before and after each clean. Along with this it is incredibly important to be aware of your surroundings the best you can to avoid being stuck by an uncapped needle thrown into the trash, or somewhere out of view and left for the next person to find. Getting stuck with a needle can result in the bloodborne pathogen HIV. If caught early there is hope for treatment, but if its left untreated even though symptoms may lie dormant the person could potently infect others as a result.

If a person contracts a bloodborne illness it begins to attack their immune system, weaking the host and allowing more viruses to attack. This is why it is very important to treat all blood and contaminated materials as if they are potentially infectious and or contain bloodborne pathogens. Employees are to have the proper PPE and cleaning materials while doing a job such as disposable gloves and proper cleaner/disinfectant for the situation. make sure to properly dispose of your contaminated materials in their properly labeled container, such as dirty gloves and other PPE that is contaminated. Next Thoroughly wash your hands after disposing of the contaminated items and disinfect and sanitize all tools that were used and or came in contact with the contaminated item(s) in the clean-up process. There are other steps you can take to avoid exposure to bloodborne pathogens such as never manually compress trash, never re-use towels or sponges, use properly labeled materials such as containers and or bags when disposing of or transporting materials that are contaminated with bloodborne pathogens including gloves, laundry, and equipment. When you're handling contaminated containers or bags use extreme caution and precautions to ensure safety.

To conclude everything if you do come in direct contact with contaminated items, you need to immediately alert a supervisor and your Doctor/physician to seek correct treatment. Be alert and watch out for symptoms of HBV and HIV.

Advantages Of Going Green To The Customers

    • Cost-effective products: Green products last longer than conventional products. Moreover, these products consume less energy and other resources thus reducing the bills of the users. For example, Solar speakers can last for 10 hours just by charging with solar energy.
    • Low maintenance: If operated responsibly and maintained properly, the green products result in low maintenance costs. Take green buildings, for example. They market themselves not only for being environmentally friendly but also for less operational costs.
    • Improves health: Since eco-friendly products are made from materials that are free from harmful chemicals and components, they not only improve physical but also mental health. In green buildings, large windows are installed which allows healthy and fresh air along with natural lighting in abundance. It improves mental health and reduces stress.

Bloodborne pathogens are disease-causing microorganisms that are present in human blood. Bloodborne pathogens can cause a variety of diseases ranging from mild to severe and incurable. Some examples of these disease include hepatitis B, hepatitis C and HIV. Bloodborne pathogens can be transmitted through contaminated body fluids on surfaces, equipment, and needles.

Cleaning employees are often exposed to these body fluids. From cleaning private homes, to public facilities especially medical facilities, cleaning employees are directly exposed to the risk of infection if adequate precaution and controls are not followed. It is therefore very important that cleaning staff receive adequate training on bloodborne pathogens.

By having adequate knowledge of bloodborne pathogen, cleaning employees are equipped to protect themselves from infection and diseases. Employees who are well trained in infection control measures are able to perform their jobs safely without putting themselves and others at risk of illness or injury.

By knowing about bloodborne pathogen, employees would understand the OSHA's universal approach to bloodborne pathogens, which stipulates that all body fluids from patients should be considered potential risk for infection. This is key to bloodborne pathogen control.

They would also understand the standard precautions and right behavior to follow when cleaning, such as the the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), the need for proper labelling of disposables, and the right behavior for eating and smoking when working in medical facilities.

Also, by knowing about bloodborne pathogen, cleaning employees would know what steps to take when they are exposed to bloodborne pathogen. It is important that exposure to bloodborne pathogens are reported to the supervisor promptly.

In conclusion, if cleaning employees are not trained, they could put themselves or others at risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens. For this reason, it is important that all cleaning staff receive training on how to prevent exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

I just recently purchased a Lysol Bathroom Mold and Mildew Remover with Bleach Spray.

It cleans and whitens in seconds, kills multiple Mold Types with an up to 99.99% effect against viruses and bacteria.

I just spray it on the Mold Or Mildew and wait it out, then scrub and rinse away.

I find it satisfactory to use before I refurbish the Bathroom Tiles with some fresh Grout.

The key to mold control is moisture control.Mold problems must be solved before they become troublesome.

Having a mold cleanup program is essential to the health of building occupants and workers, healthcare workers and patients worldwide.Mold exposure can include allergic reactions, asthma and even respiratory complaints.

A mold cleanup program is essential because it includes step by step methods to decrease mold by venting bathrooms and other moisture generating sources to the outside using air conditioners and dehumidifiers, increasing ventilation and using exhaust fans whenever cooking dishwashing and cleaning.

Who should do the cleanup depends on factors like the size of the mold problem but developing a mold cleanup program is essential to make mold cleanup and Prevention methodical, precise and effective.

I have been in the medical field now for 37 years. 3 years ago, I began a specialized cleaning service for medical imaging suites. There are certain areas the hospital or hired cleaning service cannot safely enter to clean on a regular basis. It must be performed by people who work in the industry. On a daily basis, on site may provide imaging service to 200-500 people a day. This includes starting I.V.'s, trauma patients, HBV, HBC, HIV, Covid. You name it.

I have found that most technologists do not have the time to properly clean the areas they work in. The do their best with the time given between patients. I have found that if I come in and do a deep cleaning on a regular basis. The suites remain clean and tidy. This helps greatly with any bloodborne pathogens

I work along side my fellow cleaning services to provide the best environment for the patient and the employee. We look out for each other. In the new environment with Covid. It has become a daily war we fight to keep from spreading the virus. We all have to be diligent. Bryan.

Janitors and cleaning staff play a huge role in our daily lives by providing a healthy environment by preventing the spread of pathogens, improving indoor air quality, and maintaining a pleasing aesthetic. Keeping spaces clean, organized, safe and hygienic is what my business services excels at the best.

Cleanliness is always a plus to every establishment. A place kept clean gives any customer the idea that the owner of the establishment as well as the janitorial services provider, always sees to it that everything is well-maintained.

These janitors help provide a sustainable working environment. Working in a clean environment can help you think clearly because the working area is organized and clean. Seeing all the mess on your working won’t help you think clearly, it will only add up to the stress that you are feeling.
