Todays homeowners and business owners are looking for cleaning methods that are environmentally friendly and help preserve human health. The cleaning method that is innovative and sustainable to human health and to our environment is Green Cleaning. Green Cleaning does not use cleaning products that contain ingredients that are harmful to our health and environment but use cleaning products that are found in nature and do not have any harmful consequences when used. The reason why consumer perception is demanding for more Green Cleaning methods is because the “old method” of using cleaning chemicals risk their health and the environment.

When cleaning chemicals first came out, many households were relieved because that meant for them that they would not need to do any excessive work for hours to remove stains and grime from tiles, grout, backsplash, sink and bathroom surfaces. It was a huge relief back then knowing that you would apply a cleaning chemical and you would have immediate results with no effort. However, little did consumers know that these cleaning chemicals were harmful to the environment and to their health. Studies have shown that the average American home can be found 63 synthetic chemical products can be found, which equals to 10 gallons of hazardous chemicals.

Many household consumers and business owners are using cleaning chemicals without their knowledge that these products can harm their families, employees, and client’s health and environment. The reason is because they are not educated properly or have no specialization of which cleaning product is safe or harmful to them. One harmful cleaning product that is commonly found in households and businesses is chlorine. Chlorine is an extremely toxic chemical, and it has toxic affects on living organisms, and when it comes in contact with organic materials, it can create hazardous and carcinogenic toxins such as trihalomethanes and chloroform, and organochlorines. In addition, chlorine and chlorinated compounds can cause damage to our atmospheric ozone. This chemical is commonly found in laundry bleach, dishwasher detergent, tub, and tile cleaners. Furthermore, heavy duty degreasers and deodorizers use aromatic hydrocarbons, which are highly carcinogenic, and can contaminate air and groundwater. Although these cleaning chemicals can clean surfaces with little effort, it does it with a great cost to our environment and to our health. That is why there is an emerging demand for better cleaning practices such as Green Cleaning.

As previously mentioned, Green Cleaning is the preferred method of cleaning as it doesn’t cause any harmful affects to our eco-system and to our health. There are many natural green products and items that can clean surfaces such as: baking soda, unscented soap that do not contain petroleum distillates, lemon, borax, vinegar, cornstarch, and isopropyl alcohol to name a few. These products when used do not create any toxic fumes, do not dry or harm your skin, nor do they cause any harmful affects to our ecosystem. These items are highly recommended if someone wants to practice green cleaning to protect their communities and environment.

After reviewing the harmful affects of cleaning products, and to the benefits of using natural green products for Green Cleaning, the choice is clear which practice is beneficial to our society and environment in the long run. Green cleaning and natural green cleaning products is a sustainable and innovative cleaning method that can improve our health, productivity, minimize risks, but it also shows that we care for the environment that we live in. Now, if you happen to be a homeowner or a workplace owner who is unsure how to practice Green Cleaning or to find a professional cleaning company that practices Green Cleaning, you can always refer to the IJCSA. After studying the IJCSA's material on green cleaning, I have decided to implement the following green cleaning service program into my business. The first step is to eliminate all nonbiodegradable chemicals from my cleaning regiment. These harmful chemicals will be replaced with naturally derived ecofriendly products.  In addition to replacing product, the use of microfiber will replace paper towels thus reducing waste. And finally measures will be taken to ensure over use of product does not occur.  This will be done by putting a system in place that only dispenses the proper amount of product thus eliminating waste.

The benefits of converting to green cleaning are many. The most important two benefits in my opinion are the health benefits to my staff and the benefits to the environment. By replacing toxic chemicals with natural products, the risk of health complications is reduced.  Thus making a healthier workplace and healthier employees. The environment also benefits from the use of biodegradable products which can be broken down easily.

Custodians, janitors and cleaners are all exposed to blood and other bodily fluids daily through handling of laundry, cleaning human waste and spills.. It is important for everyone working in the cleaning industry to be trained in dealing with bodily fluids when working  It's also important to make sure all workers are trained in first aid .in healthcare

If an exposure occurs, it is vital that the proper first aid, reporting and documentation process is followed to ensure safety of workers.  Following OSHA's standards helps to keep everyone safe from many infectious diseases. Green cleaning is important to every living creature here on earth. Green Cleaning is the process in which choosing products make it better for people and the planet. Most of the products used today are full of harsh chemicals and toxins that are detrimental to our planet and to our overall health. Some are even deadly to us.

Choosing products that are beneficial to our health is extremely considerate. Green Clean products have been shown to alter hormones and has even been shown to reduce issues that causes cancer, neurological disorders, weakening of the immune system and allergies. Using green clean are free of synthetic fragrances, so it can reduce allergies in the workplace.

Green cleaning can also help to lessen both water and air pollution. It can help fight climate change and ozone depletion. How much better would it be if your indoor air quality was greatly improved? By making the decision to switch to eco-friendly, green clean products, would be one of the best decisions you can make for you and those around you.

When you start a cleaning company you believe you are competent and know how to clean a carpet and the only thing you need is to buy a carpet cleaning machine and that's it. You even underestimate the situation. you buy a home cleaner machine instead a strong one and this is the formula for failure.

The day arrived of your first job and the problems appears:  different types of stains, the machine leave tha carpet very wet, customer complains, it takes more time than estimated, and so on. You are worried, you do not know what to do, you need help so you call friends, watch a few you tube videos and implement some solution. if you are lucky problem solved but in a very stressfull situation.

Once some one told me that an intelligent person is the one that learns from their mistakes but a wise person is the one that learns from others mistakes...BE WISE BY BEING CERTIFICATED IN CARPET CLEANING AND BECOME SUCCESFULL.

One of the most important benefits of being Green Clean certified is how I have learned about the lasting effects it has on our planet. Using all the other chemicals with all of their toxins, I never realized every time we use them the toxins are released into the air and our water. We are making our planet worse everytime we contribute to these harsh chemicals.

I now have the knowledge of what chemicals to look for. I know there are certain chemicals you just don't mix whatsoever! And having a cleaning business, I can educate others on helping take part in the Green Clean system and preventing people from becoming sick from the cleaning chemicals they were previously using. Our job is to help take part in creating a safe environment for all the employees.

Did you know that using conventional cleaning products have been associated with a host of health problems such as damage to the liver, kidneys, and central nervous system. And all of that can happen just by the chemicals lingering in the air for too long. Most of the green clean products are made using sustainable practices, are naturally derived, safe, non-toxic and biodegradable. This speaks volumes to the  community.

So by switching over to Green Clean, I have taken a vote to protect the environment, so to speak. You too, would be setting an example to others around you if you decide too take this seriously as well.

Here at IJCSA, it is our duty to make sure our customers/clients are fully satisfied. We want to provide you with an opportunity to look forward to walking into your place of employment, not just because it's your job or it's A means to providing.. But because there is a sense of freshness like no other.. A sense of "clean."

What is Green Cleaning and why is it a good choice? Green clean is the process of choosing better products that are better for both people and the planet. It is good for the health and well-being of your people, and it also prevents unnecessary chemicals from being released into the environment.

They tend to be a little more costly then what is typically used, however, they are biodegradable and eco-friendly. Whenever a product is environmentally friendly, you can't put a price on one's health nor the environment. If you ask me, green clean saves lives, who would not want to take part in that?!
