To implement green cleaning into my company would give me an edge over most of the competitors because offering a more healthier and environmental service is highly acceptable with most business and homeowners.

Promotion and marketing is the key to gathering customers and to promote the use of products that is less toxic, environmental friendly, and can do the job just as good as the toxic chemical products will definitely draw a crowd.

The main objective will be to make sure that the customer has a clear understanding of what they are using in their homes, and the alternative of using a product that can reduce the health risk they may encounter by using those toxic chemical products.

Now more than ever it is imperative to not only practice effective cleaning methods, but the methods taught in the IJCSA Medical Cleaning Certification are vital in not only creating effectively clean and disinfected healthcare facilities, these methods are vital to residencies and commercial properties as well. Effective cleaning methods are more important than ever and can be and should be implemented beyond healthcare facilities.

These methods and practices are proven effective and therefore it only makes sense to take this knowledge beyond the healthcare field. The training talks in depth about disinfecting high touch surfaces, these surfaces can be found throughout your home, business, the local grocery store and beyond. Why not take these same practices that are safe and effective for healthcare facilities and apply them elsewhere? The only thing there is to lose, is the danger of these various germs and viruses.

Hand hygiene is critical with regards to maintaining a clean and safe environment. It's a practice that is argued to be one of the most unrated, yet one of the most effective ways to prevent the spread of germs and viruses. Good hand hygiene needs to happen before, during (throughout the cleaning process) and after cleaning/disinfecting any given facility, residency and the like.

Now more than ever it's important to protect yourself and those around you from harmful germs and viruses. This protection isn't just necessary in healthcare facilities, it's necessary for your home, business, car, etc. The spread of harmful germs and viruses can end with you and the training you need can begin here. Furthermore if you're looking for a reliably trained professional, look no further. Medical cleaning practices can be and should be applied anywhere. These methods are proven to be effective and will be a great line of defense anywhere cleaning is necessary.

Vomit, Blood, Saliva, nasal discharge and tears. These fluids can be seen and readily accessible but some are hidden in garbage, sheets, pillows, etc. and employees must be trained in order to look out for the dangers they may face everyday at their jobs.

To protect employees OSHA has developed a Bloodborne pathogen standard and must be adhered to for the safety of all involved.

Employers must have a post exposure procedure in place at all times. This must be enacted within the first 24 hours and must include. Reporting, immediate flushing with water, Dr. examination, medication and follow up.

We then added the green products to our product line and discontinued use of harsh chemicals.

Staff was trained on the green cleaning method and once certification was received, we notified clients that the company was now green cleaning certified. We reached out to each customer, explaining the benefits of the switch over and the impact to their health and bottomline. Chemicals are everywhere and in everything. The process of cleaning has always been associated with chemicals. The thought process has always been that in order for products, surfaces, etc to be clean they must have an application of chemicals.

An associated idea was that the stronger the chemical, the more effective the cleaning. These every day cleaning chemicals are in widespread use in every facet of society not only in the USA but throughout the world. Some chemicals have a negative respiratory and dermatological impact on people. These products are used with little emphasis on the ramifications of their use.

The result has been that our environment has been severely negatively impacted by the leaching of theses products into the water system, by depleting the ozone layer and impacting climate change. While the process is slow, the impact is irreversable. The glaciers have begun to melt, some animals have become extinct, allergies are on the increase and pollution is rampant.

The alternative to this desecration of our environment is to migrate to using green products for cleaning. These products are environmentally less harmful to humans and less chemically reactive. White vinegar, cornstarch and borax are all household items that can be used in cleaning without the detrimental impact on the environment.

Consumers can reduce their exposure to harmful chemicals by using eco friendly products, especially green cleaning products. In most cases these products are household items and are competitively priced. This can be a huge cost savings. It can improve productivity, and increase employee moral in the workplace. This adds value to people and helps to convey the idea that they are contributing to the health and safety of others.
