There are many benefits to having a mold cleaning program and it is very imperative. Exposure to mold can cause a variety of health effects. For some people, exposure to molds can lead to symptoms such as stuffy nose, wheezing, shortness of breath, skin irritation, and red itchy eyes. People who suffer from allergies and/or asthma, may have more severe reactions. Molds are more lethal when they produce a toxicity called mycotoxin. Mycotoxins can be harmful or fatal to humans and animals when exposure is high enough.

Extreme exposure to very high levels of mycotoxins can lead to neurological problems and in some cases death. Molds also produce aflatoxin which is similar to mycotoxin. Aflatoxin is a cancer-causing poison produced by certain fungi in or on foods and feeds like corn and peanuts. Given on how dangerous mold is to human health, having a mold cleaning program will help boost your business with schools and/or companies giving you phone calls to require your services. With proper training and procedure, you will find new customers and your business will thrive.

By being a GREEN CLEANING CERTIFIED Company we are demonstrating are continual commitment to protecting the environment and making changes in the CLEANING INDUSTRY that benefit the plant as a whole.  GREEN CLEANING CERTIFIED companies realize that choosing to be a certified green company offers many benefits that can be passed on to our clients and to our cleaning employees.

Companies that have chosen to be GREEN CLEANING CERTIFIED have set themselves apart from the competition by bringing a unique QUALITY in demand in the cleaning industry.  The meaning of being GREEN CERTIFIED is that we are willing to go the extra mile in putting the safety of our clients and employees first by researching the best ENVIRONMENTAL-FRIENDLY cleaning products we use.

As a GREEN CERTIFIED COMPANY the products we use do not contain harmful toxic chemicals that cause severe health problems in humans and can harm the environment with toxic chemicals being released in the air and water supply.  By using environmental-friendly products we are contributing in providing a safe environment and eliminating the risk of eye and skin irritations, wheezing , shortness of breath, headaches and confusion in humans.

Companies that are GREEN CLEANING CERTIFIED are cost efficient which is important to the company and its clients. Common household products such as Hydrogen Peroxide, Baking Soda, Vinegar, Rubbing Alcohol, Castile Soap and many other safe cleaning products are cheaper then the toxic commercial cleaning products.  Green cleaning products are made by using sustainable and naturally derived, safe, non-toxic, and biodegradable ingredients that do not negatively impact humans and environment.  In contrast toxic commercial cleaning products contain Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) that have been associated with a host of health problems like damage to the liver, kidneys, lungs and central nervous system.

Clearly by choosing to be a GREEN CLEANING CERTIFIED COMPANY has many benefits and above all it shows we are COMMITTED to the Cleaning Industries constant changes.  This also sets us apart from the competition by providing a safe environment for our clients and employees,  along by being a cost efficient company.  Therefore as a result we will have more business just from being an ECO-FRIENDLY COMPANY and showing we have our employees, clients and plant in mind while providing GREAT GREEN CLEANING SERVICES.

We have completed the process of switching over our cleaning supplies and clearing out the custodial closets. I have heard great feedback from the custodians about the new products! One custodian said she used to always get a rash from the other products and she has seen that go away since we are using the green cleaning.

Being IJCSA Green Cleaning Certified you will have a knowledge of green natural products and what chemicals to avoid. A benefit of your company being green cleaning certified is it will help prevent people from becoming sick from the cleaning chemicals they are using. it will create a safe environment for you and your employee.

1-Greenwashing is rampant in this field. Countless products have vague marketing terms such as “eco-friendly” or “natural.”  These are so meaningless that even the FTC has issued guidance against making General environmental benefits claims

2-To fully evaluate a product, you need to know all of the ingredients and how they might interact with each other. Many companies do not fully disclose their ingredients, which makes evaluation about the health and environmental impacts difficult. Even if the company did disclose all ingredients, you would have to be knowledgeable about the chemicals to understand how they interact.

Many companies are starting the transition from a traditional cleaning program to a green cleaning program. However, it is important to know the major benefits that are attributed to a green cleaning program for any business.IMPROVE INDOOR AIR QUALITY:Indoor air quality refers to the cleanliness and quality of the air within and around buildings and structures that have an impact on our health and wellness.

REDUCED COSTS : Did you know that green cleaning is no more expensive than traditional cleaning and can sometimes be less? As technology continues to improve, green products and tools are becoming less costly to manufacture resulting in more cost efficient services.

ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFIT : By improving the indoor environment in which the green cleaning program is being implemented, a green cleaning program will also benefit the environment outside of the building and/or property.

Bloodborne pathogens are microorganisms which means, they’re invisible to the human eye. As a result, it is important to treat any blood or bodily fluid as if it is contaminated with the pathogen. It is imminent for cleaners to possess the knowledge in this area as we usually accompany public health defenders.

The aim is to limit or prevent the exposure to the pathogen while also making sure that the clients are safe from it too. Public health defenders can easily introduce the pathogen into their blood if not careful, e.g., an injection needle hidden in the sheets of the patient, not wearing proper PPE, could easily introduce these microorganisms into the personnel.

The reason this is so dangerous is because, these pathogens may take months/years to showcase any symptoms/clinical signs in the patient(s) which may be too late for the person to recover by then. Being properly trained in this area equips us with the knowledge that not only do we keep ourselves, but our clients safe from these bloodborne pathogens.
