Providing great customer service is essential when providing cleaning services.  Meeting and/or exceeding your customers' needs is the first step to a successful business model.  Before you can meet/exceed your customers needs, you need to identify them first.  Proper fact-finding questions during initial walk-throughs and pre-bid meetings is the most important step when identifying what your customer wants and needs.  Once you understand what they want and provide that service, then customer service is a breeze.

Simply proving the correct service in a timely manner is not the only pillar to customer service.  Another important detail is to maintain communication and proper billing with your clients.  As long as there is good service and communication, the customers will be happy.  The members here at the IJCSA are committed to learning and implementing proper procedures to further their customer service skills.  You can find a list of members in your area by following this link.

Properly cleaning within a hospital is extremely important, especially when trying to avoid all disease and viruses that can grow from improperly cleaning bacteria, or blood borne pathogens!  I look at the hospital in terms of a food chain, In which every man from very the top to the bottom has an obligation to complete in order for the system to work as one.

From wearing Personal protective equipment to properly disposing of them, as well as following proper guidelines to ensure that the solutions / chemicals are being properly used and for the sufficient amount of response time!  By consistently doing these things we can ensure the safety of our staff, guest, and visitors.  Unrelated hospital issues is among the leading deaths in the world!  So one can’t stress enough the importance of doing the job correctly, for so many people rely on the cleanse of hospital environmental, more importantly it’s a display of professionalism and hospitality.  Hospital must provide service to the best of there extent but can’t do so without a sanitized environment that can keep but patients and Staff safe.

in conclusion, it is essential we understand the importance of a clean hospital setting in order to be able to provide A high level of safe, sanitary, hospitable, service!

Every human life is precious and there is no greater value than that of valuing the lives of others. It was once said that knowledge is power and what you don't know can hurt you. Some habits of cleaning with certain products are generational in nature. The habit of using certain products to clean have been passed down from others. In some cases, the effectiveness of using the product superseded the passing down of knowledge of the ingredients in those products.

Now, with today's normalcy of having easy access to data, we all have an opportunity to educate and enlighten those who have been shielded from the important facts of how harmful some products are. If we truly value human life, then this mission will not be a chore, it will be a privilege.

For one, we should exercise the value of communicating "the risks " (health wise ). They are numerous: respiratory problems, kidney issues, brain damage, heart problems, cancer, skin and eye irritation, nausea, etc..

Next, we should exercise the value of educating others on "the remedy". This is two-fold because on one hand we have to encourage everyone who uses the harsh chemicals to always wear protective equipment. Subsequently, we must educate, those who are interested, on the benefits of green cleaning. This includes showing them examples of natural alternatives to specific harsh chemicals that they may be accustomed to using. There are certified individuals who are passionate about assisting them with this: https://www.ijcsa.org/Green-Cleaning-Services.

In closing, we should also exercise the value of inspiring others on "the rewards". Green cleaning not only reduces health risks, improves indoor air quality, protects employees, customers, neighbors, families, and friends, but it also improves productivity and contributes to reducing waste in landfills.

We will implement the mold cleaning by first doing the training. We did this by signing up with IJCSA. After we get that training done we need to get the proper tools to be able to do this. once we have the correct equipment we are ready to service clients.

To find potential clients we will try and work with plumbers who are called to work in residences. There will likely be mold that needs to be cleaned if there was a long lasting leak. They will refer us and then we will come and do the work. We will give the plumbers a referral bonus.

We will implement carpet cleaning into our business. The way we are going to do this is first by getting the proper IJCSA training. When you get a IJCSA member to do your cleaning you are getting a company that does the research and homework on the best possible cleaning methods. So when it comes to something as important as carpet you have to choose someone who knows what they are doing.

After we get our training we will buy the hot water extractor. It will be expensive so we will need to save up for this. After we have it we will make sure all the employees are properly trained on how to use it. Then once we are ready we will advertise that we have this service available for our clients if they choose to get it done.

After having recently updated my annual credentials with a 2021 Green Cleaning Certification, I fully understand that this is just a baseline step towards a bigger goal. Now, I can position my team to successfully obtain and/or update their individual green cleaning certifications. Simultaneously, we can expand our discussions with potential partners regarding green cleaning services.

Once our team members are collectively certified/recertified then we can reassess our procedures, products and equipment to better serve clients. A collaborative effort on this will further empower the team to be vested in the value of the vision.

In closing, my immediate next step is to obtain my 2021 Masters Green Certification. This will enable me to expand my expertise in the cleaning industry with potentially newer insights and techniques to further differentiate the company from competitors.

Education and action are two thoughts that should come to mind when discussing the topic of natural green products versus the use of some everyday cleaning chemicals. As an industry we need to continue to educate our clients, employees, and communities on the importance of everyone taking collective actions to ensure that all of us can experience an improvement with better health and safety outcomes regarding our environment.

The usage of some everyday cleaning chemicals has collectively resulted in the following threats to human health: cancer, dementia, respiratory problems, skin and eye irritation, etc. In addition, the highly flammable and nonbiodegradable characteristics of so many products have accelerated the decline of our environment.

The other side of this issue is the every increasing popularity of natural green products. Even the government has allocated additional funding in the form of grants to influence more businesses to transition into a green/eco-friendly way of operating. The green products significantly reduces the health risks of employees who are cleaning with pride and dedication week in and week out. Usage of green products throughout the hallways, offices, isles, bathrooms, boardrooms, and waiting rooms across the world is providing so many children, women, and men with better air quality experiences.

While those of us in the cleaning world are more aware of the benefits and dangers of certain cleaning products, not everyone is fully aware or convinced of the sense of urgency needed to create safer outcomes. For starters, there is a strong need to encourage users of certain cleaning chemicals to always wear protective equipment to guard against their individual toxins. Secondly, educating others on safer alternatives is a proactive next step.

In closing, continuous education and action are the two most proactive steps that can be taken to drive more participation in the use of safer cleaning products.
