When it comes to keeping families safe and protected from both germs and harsh chemicals, green cleaning just makes sense. Many professional cleaning companies claim to provide green home cleaning products and services, but do they ever inform you of what green cleaning products they’re actually using? We won’t label toxic cleaner “green” simply because it’s in a recycled container. We strive to be as transparent as possible and offer cleaning solutions that best fit the needs of our customers. Our professional house cleaners are happy to inform you about our products and practices.

We’re dedicated to helping you find the right balance between protecting the environment and maintaining a clean, healthy home. By teaching you about cleaning products and industry standards, we can help you decide on the best cleaning solutions for your home.

In order to help you maintain a healthy indoor environment, many of our cleaning products are free of toxins, petroleum, ammonia, and alcohol.

We also carry out a variety of environmentally friendly practices, some of which include:

    ·         Optimizing travel routes to maximize efficiency

    ·         Reducing product waste

    ·         Reusing bottles

United Cleaning services  also supports established businesses that promote green cleaning. We recognize that small steps like these can make a big difference collectively. We strive to create flexible and customized green housecleaning plans that offer an honest approach to professional cleaning services.

Improving our environmental performance makes good business sense from all perspectives.

As with any new strategic project, it's a good idea to create and implement a solid plan. Hiring a professional can be helpful when you want an outside perspective.

Here are some of the steps we are incorporating into our decision-making process. These ideas are often low cost and can be as simple as raising employee awareness.

    Raw materials

    ·         Decrease the amount of raw materials you use by improving the efficiency of your operation.

    ·         Buy durable, long-lasting materials and equipment.

    ·         Use raw materials that are non-toxic or that pollute less, such as water-based paints rather than solvent-based paints.

    ·         Use recycled materials where possible (e.g., reclaimed lumber, post-consumer waste paper).

    ·         Create less waste by reducing the amount of packaging.

    ·         Encourage recycling wherever possible—consider working together with other businesses to share the cost of recycling.

    Water

    ·         Review your water usage and see if you can eliminate any waste by, for example, replacing leaking fixtures or turning water off when not in use.

    ·         Reduce water pressure where possible.

    Fuel

    ·         Buy vehicles that are fuel efficient or use alternative power sources.

    ·         Minimize driving by planning deliveries and pickups carefully.

    ·         Keep your vehicles well maintained.

    ·         Educate drivers about fuel-efficient driving (e.g., driving at the speed limit, reducing idling time, keeping tires inflated).

    Energy

    ·         Purchase energy-efficient equipment, such as those with the Energy Star seal. This equipment can save you up to 75% in energy costs.

    ·         Install occupancy sensors on lights in less-used areas.

    ·         Use energy-efficient light bulbs.

    ·         Make use of windows and blinds to help manage temperature and lighting conditions.

    ·         Install reflectors on light fixtures to make them more efficient.

    ·         Turn off equipment, such as computers, monitors, photocopiers and appliances, when not in use.

    ·         Use cold water instead of hot where possible.

    ·         Consider alternative electricity sources, such as wind-turbines or solar panels.

    ·         Keep your equipment well maintained.

    ·         Consider using new teleconferencing technology rather than travelling

Custodial and Janitorial services are an extremely important part of every day life. Public restrooms are used often and without proper cleaning and disinfecting they could be a hot spot for disease.

Janitors ensure not only that all parts of restrooms are in proper working order, but also that all items are fully stocked and all areas you come in direct contact with are free of bodily fluids and any other things that could be hazardous to your health.

Restrooms come in contact with bodily fluids multiple times a day and require knowledge of disinfectant procedures in order to maximize cleanliness and safety.

Bloodborne pathogens per description are all those viruses and bacteria found on human fluids , now by them self they can be dangerous and contagious. Correct handling of any materials and surfaces that has been in contact with this pathogens is the difference to prevent greater contagion risk.

Normally we believed that we are safe is we avoid contact with the sick person but if we mishandle all the materials involved on treatment we can be infected by  the same pathogens.

It is important to have the correct information about disposing material and ask question if any doubts. its never smart to assume !

Every company or individual that is in the cleaning business should know about Bloodborne Pathogens . This type of information should be part of the new hiring process for cleaning companies. It is important to train employees and give them the proper PPE and info for them to take care of themselves and the customer facility.

We are all exposed to bloodborne pathogens when cleaning a facility, this is not only limited to medical facilities. As cleaning professionals we are responsible for disinfecting all surfaces and  to do so in a way that will not put our lives or someone else live in danger.

In this moment the world is living a terrific situation and every single person in the cleaning business should take this moment to shine and offer the best service possible. This way we can part of the solution and not the problem.

Cleaning of healthcare facilities is performed for medical and cultural safety  reasons. Maintaining an environment with a low pathogenic burden is essential for avoiding complications during the care and recuperation of patients. A healthy, safe, and aesthetically pleasing space with clean surfaces is comforting to patients and their families by giving an impression of good quality care without additional health hazards.

While cleaning is important in all economic sectors, it serves the healthcare industry the dual functions of surface cleanliness, and infection prevention and control. As such, healthcare settings require intensive and frequent cleaning with a wide range of products approved by the center. Having the right solution will help to reduce to spread of any contamination with the facility.

Usually, most of the hospitals and health care centers are crowded with patients who carry any number of infections and toxins. If the hygiene of the surroundings is not properly maintained with regular cleaning then it can spread further and can affect any other visitors who are of quite normal health Also, patients visiting such places may easily contact the virus. In such a case, hospitals and health care centers will turn out to be breeding ground for various diseases. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the hospitals and health care centers to regularly clean their area by employing a professional healthcare cleaning service.

This will be the thrill ride you are looking for within the cleaning industry, and these services cover a wide range of cleaning up that not every cleaning service can do without proper training. This service is also not for everyone because you will be dealing with the gross and grimy jobs most of the time, but the pay is amazing.

Let me break it down a bit for you. Biohazard services can include crime scene cleaning up, which most of the time will consist of a body, blood, and sometimes remains. Hoarding clean up can also be a part of your job. You have to clean out months, sometimes years of garbage from a house.       Overall it can be a rewarding job to help out others in need. This is an essential part of the cleaning industry. Look at it like this, just like how doctors are the king of the healthcare industry. This service is the king of the cleaning industry, and taking this course will propel your knowledge and business to the next level.
