There are many 'key' advantages of hiring a IJCSA Certified Residential Cleaning Specialist.

The IJCSA RCS will be professional and effectively trained in many areas of residential cleaning.

The RCS will understand chemicals.  Chemicals as bleach, multi-purpose cleaner, wood oils and cleaners, stainless steel cleaner, disinfectants, enzyme products, window and glass cleaners, scouring powders, and oven cleaners will be used properly by RCS.  Additionally RCS will have reviewed all safety data sheets on above chemicals.

The RCS will have a skill set.  He or she will perform cleaning tasks using professional techniques.  Such as beds made with hospital corners, carpets groomed in uniform, left to right, top to bottom cleaning and dusting techniques and professional sanitizing methods.

Last your RCS will have 'safety skills'.  Full knowledge of proper use of step ladder, vacuums, cleaning cloths, mops, dusters, etc.

These very specific skills and techniques along with chemical knowledge ensure IJCSA RCS is the only choice!

We will encounter many different obstacles during our work in the cleaning industry. While some employees and staff know the dangers of various pathogens, most people need clarification on the proper procedures when handling blood and related equipment.

A bloodborne pathogen must be handled responsibly, which means that employees must receive proper training and follow best practices and standards when dealing with bloodborne pathogens. Cleaning, disinfecting, and disposing of materials properly require adequate training.

Every work site should have a clear outline of the Universal Precautions but it is imperative that they are followed. If contamination occurs, specific documentations must be submitted. A thorough offense will prevent the worst attacks of the disease. Symptoms such as fatigue, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, nausea and light colored stools should be brought up to the attention of the cleaning employee.

The key advantages of hiring a person or company that knows it's trade is important when it comes to residential cleaning services.

professionals are in high demand nowadays especially those that have passed the IJCSA RCS Certification. In the requirements to  complete this certification it is in high demand that they certify also in:

    1) JCSA Bloodborne Pathogens Certification-- which teaches about OSHA's Bloodborne Pathogens Standards which is a federal regulation(29CFR1910.1030) that prescribes safeguards to protect workers against the health hazards from exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials and to reduce their risk from this exposure.

    2) IJCSA Chemical Hazards Certification-- which teaches about chemical substances that could potentially cause harm to the human body or even cause loss of life.Chemical Hazards(according to OSHA) and toxic substances pose a wide range of short or long term health effects therefore safety and avoidance are always important and a key priority.

And 3) Customer Service Skills Certification to provide the necessary assistance and advice to customers relating to  chemical products, cleaners and agents and on how to better use the IJCSA services which range from cleaning services, forums , and training courses.

We are in the commercial/residential cleaning industry. Bloodborne Pathogens are an everyday part of our company. From the bathrooms to bedrooms and kitchens, each area has an assumption that some type of contaminate in on the surface.

It is important that each person takes precautions and properly disposes of contaminates and sharps so that exposures are limited. People that are exposed need to let their supervisor know and contact their physician.

In summary, no matter what field you work in, everyone needs to have correct PPE and disposable containers to limit and contain the spread to contaminates.

I think I can speak for most of the members & potential customers here in this forum when I say Customer Service out here is on life support. 99% of us in this industry travels from job to job and in our travels we engage with quite a few people on day to day bases. I recall one particular over night job in a remote location where there were only fast food restaurants. Five that sat right across the street from each other. Would you believe that not just one but all five were on a scale from 1-10 on crappy service, neither would make the scale. One saw us walking towards the restaurant and literally ran towards the door to lock it because they were closing in (15mins). The other refuse to let us in because she was short staffed even after we agreed to wait. The other 3 restaurants was similar experiences, and no we did not get anything to eat from all 5. We settled for gas station chips and sodas. The next morning I was on a mission to see all 5 managers and 4 out of 5 were just as bad as the staff the night before. The last manager I literally thought she was gonna cry because of our experience with her staff (The one who locked the door) she made it rain free gift certificates and free breakfast too, AND BOOM we were back on board and ate in the their dining room. The night before we wanted to set fire to it. LOL

As I watch the training video for the customer service certification for IJCSA I ask myself how could we get this message out to the world because people needs to understand that customers not only frequent our businesses because of the great savings but also equally return for the awesome customer service they received and we all know word of mouth can make you or break you. Maybe one day someone will invent a customer service spray or lotion because its a lot of businesses that need the bottle sitting right beside the hand sanitizer. This is an awesome training tool that contains a powerful message. Remember #SaveCustomerService
