Medical cleaning practices are very strict in the sense that there are rules to follow when it comes to the cleaning. Since medical facilities need to be properly clean to avoid patient getting sick medical cleaning practices can benefit residential and commercial places. The majority of people won’t be familiar with some of the rules and proper methods went dealing with cleaning chemical.

Some of those standards can help other residential and commercial situations in the sense that if they can implement a higher standard of cleaning there would be less people getting sick. There would be a lower number of people calling in sick to work and to school. Medical cleaning practices implementation at home can also help you avoid going to the doctor because of bacteria’s or virus that could have been avoidable if we were to do a deeper cleaning with the right cleaning chemicals.

A good idea to implement is to have a higher standard level of cleaning for all types of situations, for homes and work places. By implementing medical cleaning practices across the board we can have a better control when it comes to people getting sick. According to the CDC, cleaning alone effectively reduces the number of microorganisms on contaminated equipment. Now imagine having the knowledge to use the correct chemicals it can really impact us in a good way.

Now, that we are in a pandemic cleaning is crucial and knowing and implementing the high standards of medical cleaning can keep a better control of the spread. For example, knowing that we should clean with color rags that way we are not cross contaminating areas and knowing about how to correctly use chemical that can kill harmful virus and germs. As we know, green cleaning is one of those processes that prevent the environment from pollution. To be more precise green cleaning is cleaning with natural products such as white vinegar, salt, baking soda, etc. that's why their use as natural cleaning products are unharmful.

As concerning the use of hazardous chemicals, everyone knows that they are effective when it comes to cleaning, but we should know that they are dangerous for every living creature on the earth and the environment too because they promote pollution of nature. Our ecosystem is suffering because of such chemical compounds. Air pollution also promotes such dangerous diseases as a censer. So to live longer and take care of our kids and pets, we should avoid using such hazardous chemicals.

In previous paragraphs, I compared green cleaning and cleaning with using hazardous chemicals. So we can see why green cleaning is better. It has many benefits. That's the main reason why being a green cleaner or green cleaning company is good.

Unfortunately, some people think that green cleaning is not as effective as cleaning with hazardous chemicals, but it's wrong. There are a lot of effective recipes that contain natural products. So it would be better if awareness of society will increase about this issue.

In conclusion, I would like to say that if we will choose to be a green cleaner or green cleaning company, it plays into everyone's hands, and added to everything else currently the demand for green cleaning companies among consumers are increasing. That means that it's not good only for our health and the environment but for successful business too.

The best thing about being IJCSA Master Green Cleaning Certified is that my awareness about green cleaning is increased. I think it's very important to know more about cleaning with natural products; now, I feel safer because I know many dangerous chemical components I need to avoid.

There are many natural cleaning products like baking soda, salt, white vinegar, essential oils, etc. Also, we can mix them and create effective cleaning agents. I can also introduce some recipes from this certification course that I checked and liked a lot because they were easy to make but effective; for example, we can create a glass cleaner agent if we mix one-gallon water and ½ cup white vinegar. There is also the recipe for hard surfaces cleaning: mix ¼ cup lemon juice with ½ cup olive oil, etc.

The most important thing that I learned from this course is that I should be more careful with some chemical components because most of them are toxic and dangerous for our health and the environment. I will list some toxic chemicals that I need to avoid: ammonia, benzene, chlorine, formaldehyde, dioxane, kerosene, methanol, naphthas, etc.

IJCSA Master Green Cleaning Certification Course was helpful because it helped me to improve my knowledge of green cleaning.

We all know how important is the environment for the health of every living creature on the earth. So one of the essential missions of humanity is to protect our environment because everything is connected. Unfortunately, we make so many mistakes when it comes to protecting nature because we can't realize its importance. The good news is that nowadays, in the 21st-century, society's awareness increased. More and more companies provide recyclable and eco-friendly products, which inspires hope of a better future for all of us.

Let's talk about green cleaning now and why we need to know about it. Every building needs cleaning once in a while, it's an accepted fact, but we should know with what products we can clean our houses. Not everyone knows about how dangerous some cleaning products may be for the environment and our health; some of them may even be fatal for us, our kids, and our pets. That's why we should be more careful. In the following paragraph, I will list some natural green cleaning products.

We should know that effective green cleaning products are water, white vinegar, baking soda, essential oils, citrus, etc. There are some effective green cleaning recipes; for example, if we need to clean glass surfaces, we should mix 2 cups water, ¼ cup of white vinegar, ¼ cup of rubbing alcohol. That's a good solution for glass surface cleaning.

In conclusion, I would like to say that green cleaning is so important to every living creature on the earth because it affects in a good way to the environment.

Being a Certified Green Cleaning Company can be a game changer for your organization.  This certification allows you to be recognized and placed in a different category than your average cleaning company.

Being a certified Green Cleaning company means that your company is fully committed to using green products and maintaining a sense of awareness and responsibility to ensure your company keeps safety and green awareness at the forefront.

Green Cleaning Certification is an asset that many companies value.  With today's climate with viruses and pandemics, companies may think that the stronger product the better.  This is not necessarily the case.  These strong, even harmful products can be just as dangerous as the virus that it is trying to eliminate.  This is a huge reason why a Green Cleaning Company is so valuable.  The company will be committed to using safe products that will be effective at the same time.  Keeping the tenants of the venue in mind while doing the job.

There are tons of ways to be effective at Green Cleaning.  IJCSA has a great directory that allows its member to access various products to utilize to maintain their Green cleaning mantra and remain and asset to the community and more importantly, the environment.

Even before the rise of COVID-19, the importance of properly cleaning a health care facility can not be understated.  The ability for properly cleaning any location all comes down to your staff.  If you training your employees to use the proper techniques for cleaning in a healthcare environment, you will ensure a safe and clean environment.

Bloodborne pathogens are a serious concern for cleaning employees.  It’s important that all cleaning personnel understand what bloodborne pathogens are, what hazards they possess, how to prevent exposure and the procedures for post exposure.  Bloodborne pathogens include, but are not limited to, hepatitis B (HBV), hepatitis C (HCV) and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). These diseases can be transferred through blood and bodily fluids.  It is important that cleaning employees and staff understand the importance of these hazards and follow guidelines on safety.

OSHA has created guidelines for employers on how to implement control measures, universal precautions, hazard communication and record keeping.  Work practices should be explained to the employees and enforcement of the procedures should be a top priority.  Understanding the importance of using Personal protective equipment, disinfectants and the post-exposure steps are critical in those working in facilities that have possible contact with bloodborne pathogens. Eating, drinking smoking, applying cosmetics or lip balm, and handling contact lenses are prohibited in work areas where there is reasonable likelihood of occupational exposure to body fluids.

Employers must implement a safety program so employees understand and follow the rules for working with bloodborne pathogens. They must wear the proper PPE, use the appropriate cleaning products and equipment when working in these facilities. A universal precaution is an approach to infection control to treat all human blood and certain human body fluids as if they were known to be infectious.

To have a Green Cleaning Program is basically having a responsible program that has the best interest for your workers and the people that reside/work at the location being cleaned.

The benefits of using a Green Cleaning Program would be to improve the productivity and morale of workers knowing quality, safe products are being used.  This also reduces worker's liability due to utilizing those safe products.  Your business will also flourish because of the preferred cleaning practices being used.  Ultimately as a company, you can go home with a peaceful mind knowing that you are doing a great thing for your community.
