Bloodborne Pathogens are infectious micro-organisms found in human blood that can infect other humans. It is important to educate cleaning staff about bloodborne pathogens. The purpose of providing education is to raise your employees’ awareness about assessing their environment for potential risks, how to reduce risk, how to handle risk, and procedures to follow if one has been exposed. Being vigilant about the potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens is essential to employee safety practices.

Therefore, cleaning, and janitorial business owners, managers/supervisors, and employees are considered as frontline professionals who are exposed to these risks. It is key to operate in such a fashion that all employees and other lay people are considered as infectious in order to maintain health and protection standards. Two main bloodborne pathogens are HBV and HIV.

As such, the Bloodborne Pathogens Certification Training ensures that employees are adequately trained based on updated standards stipulated by OSHA. Training employees is important for protecting the safety and health of not only the employee but also other persons who the employee may encounter. Having standards to operate by to reduce risks; to perform assessments; and a control plan is paramount for employee and community safety.

Not contributing to environmental change is essential for guaranteeing your children, grandchildren and great grand children have a good quality of life. Curtailing these adverse effects requires a joint effort by industries and nations to seek more energy-efficient ways to operate. Green cleaning is a small piece of this puzzle but switching to greener products can make a difference over time, especially as more businesses adopt these amazing programs. Employee safety is our business’s top priority and going green with your cleaning protocols helps keep your people safe. Green Michigan industrial cleaning products pose virtually no threat to your janitorial services, cleaning staff, landscape workers, building occupants, and so on. Additionally, these products help improve the air quality inside your facility. Conversely, toxic cleaning products can burn skin, irritate eyes, cause sickness when ingested, reduce indoor air quality, and more.

    Being Proud of Going Green

Going green is also good for your brand reputation. The world is moving toward more sustainable, environmentally conscious practices. Businesses that are not on board with this positive shift may get left behind or, at the very least, struggle to save face as they cling to old ways. Conversely, when your customers and partners take notice of your green janitorial services, they will think even more highly of you and perhaps make efforts to improve their environmental efforts as well. Strength H2O Industrial Solutions is proud to offer our customers seeking industrial cleaning services Michigan, green janitorial services!

Great customer service can be best thought of as the face of the business. It's what each client sees and then decides if you are a good fit for their needs. It needs to have several important aspects in order to be effective. First and foremost, the type of business and service it provides must be clear and concise.  Targeted examples of cleaning businesses and services are listed in the ijcsa.org directory.

Equally important to the business brand is how effectively it markets and retains clients, this is the crossroad where client and customer service intersect. If done well, each client will feel heard, cared for, and understood. Their needs will be clearly outlined and restated. Any lingering questions or concerns are addressed concisely. Active listening, especially when dealing with an upset or difficult client, goes a long way to keep each party of the same page and being transparent. Always use empathy. Just being heard and validated may be all that's needed, after all it can make or break a relationship.

Finally, look for and gently guide clients towards a solution best tailored to their needs, or at least, the best outcome that's equitable for both sides. Sometimes a full refund is the only solution, and if the business isn't in the habit of that, then it's a viable answer.

We here at ijcsa.org want to earn your repeat business. We always put customer service first by using best cleaning practices and going beyond expectations to provide an excellent experience whatever service you choose. By providing the highest quality customer service in the industry we build rapport with our clients--they continue to use us and even refer us to friends, family, neighbors and the like for years to come.

Bloodborne pathogens are infectious microorganisms in human blood that can cause disease in humans, with that being said that’s enough to make cleaning employees and staff want to be cautious when dealing with body fluids.  Needle sticks and other sharps-related injuries may expose workers to bloodborne pathogens. Workers in many occupations, including first responders, housekeeping personnel in some industries, nurses and other healthcare personnel, all may be at risk for exposure to bloodborne pathogens.  Therefore it is very important for people that work in fields that are exposed to such dangerous materials be aware of bloodborne pathogens and any other materials that may cause infection or even death.

However, we can control the exposure to bloodborne pathogens if we implement an exposure control plan for the worksite with details on employee protection measures. The plan must also describe how an employer will use engineering and work practice controls, personal protective clothing and equipment, employee training, medical surveillance, hepatitis B vaccinations, and other provisions as required by OSHA.  Manufacturing controls are the primary means of eliminating or minimizing employee exposure and include the use of safer medical devices, such as needleless devices, shielded needle devices, and plastic capillary tubes.

Whether you know it or not, all occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials (OPIM) places workers at risk for infection from blood borne pathogens. According to OSHA, they define blood to mean human blood, human blood components, and products made from human blood. Other potentially infectious materials (OPIM) means: (1) The following human body fluids: semen, vaginal secretions, cerebrospinal fluid, synovial fluid, pleural fluid, pericardial fluid, peritoneal fluid, amniotic fluid, saliva in dental procedures, anybody fluid that is visibly contaminated with blood, and all body fluids in situations where it is difficult or impossible to differentiate between body fluids; (2) Any unfixed tissue or organ (other than intact skin) from a human (living or dead); and (3) HIV-containing cell or tissue cultures, organ cultures, and HIV- or HBV-containing culture medium or other solutions; and blood, organs, or other tissues from experimental animals infected with HIV or HBV.

Mold can be a dangerous fungi it is important for the longevity of the health of our buildings, homes, pets and human life. Mold causes damages in many ways if not properly taken care of at first sight. Therefore having a mold removal / cleaning operation is seriously necessary in my opinion.

If we handle and maintain our homes, companies and property in preventive ways (remembering that all we can do) and take immediate action to prevent long-term growth is just as beneficial as clean water and air. Weather its clean water damage o otherwise everyone should educate themselves on mold.
