It is important for cleaning employees to know about bloodborne pathogens, because as a Cleaning Specialist you may be exposure, or in contact viruses such as, but not limited to HBV, Hepatitis B, or Human Immunodeficiency Virus, HIV.  Understanding this, cleaning employees will follow OSHA's Bloodborne Standard Universal Precautions when cleaning, and disposal infectious material. In addition, a written Exposure Plan would be in place, both staff and employees would know how to safely protect employees and others in the decontaminate area. Employers and employees would know what PPE, and cleaning products is needed to eliminate and reduce exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Not many cleaning companies trained their janitorial technicians or their cleaning employees according to the specified cleaning standards. Some companies may have the notion that it is not important to teach or train their staff in certain product areas, or to understand what they are exposed to daily as the go about doing their duties.

Lets look at what Bloodborne Pathogens is and the effects on the employee if not handled properly . Bloodborne pathogens are micro organism found in the human  blood which cause viruses like Hepatitis A, B C or the HIV Virus which leads to aids. These pathogens can be found in saliva, blood and other body fluids, when exposed to these body fluids the employee can get infected. In cases where areas have been exposed to any of these fluids, the protocol of cleaning these areas must be followed carefully. Needles must be disposed of carefully, or in specially provided containers with lids so as to avoid exposer.

The OSHA  Occupational Safety and Health Authority cleaning standards which is recognized by the CDC must be followed. This standard is reviewed and updated as required. The OSHA standards stipulates but not limited to:

    1. What are Bloodborne Pathogens

    2. The effects of been infected with any of the viruses

    3. Should you think that you might be infected, the steps you should take to get yourself treated.

    4. What personal Protection Equipment are and how to wear them, and why you should wear them always

    And much much more.

It is very imperative that employers train their employees on the OSHA cleaning standards, and they can do this by registering their company with the IJCSA website to get their staff certified on the task at hand. please visit https://www.ijcsa.org/ or follow the link to IJCSA Business Directory, to better understand the benefits you can receive from it, Your company is sure to excel and get recognized should you get on board with the IJCSA

While hiring a home cleaning services used to be somewhat complicated, it couldn’t be simpler. In today’s world, most professional cleaning services are required to be certified, verified, and undergo thorough background checks. However, this is not to say you should hang your hat on the first cleaning company you come across. A little research and consideration is important!

          Their Services Should Be Varied.

They Must Have a Credible Reputation.

         They Must Offer Schedule Flexibility.

         Service Representatives Must Look Professional.

They Must Have Adequate Equipment and Supplies.

         They Should Offer Free Estimates.

         They Must Have Insurance.

They Should Offer a Personalized Experience.

We also give the some information about the company and cleaning service. We should give the cleaning service daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and one-time.  And we should tell them What kind of cleaning they want it like regular cleaning, or deep cleaning, or spring cleaning.

Prior to covid-19, hardly anyone valued janitorial services, well at least in my country. However, now that we have entered into this new normal, in this pandemic, Janitorial service cleaners have received a more profound respect in society.

Being emerged into this pandemic, It has allowed us as janitors and janitorial companies to learn more and grow more. Therefore, in my experience thus far, the IJCSA has provided us as entrepreneurs to elevate our levels of consciousness where cleaning is concerned. We are now more aware of practicing proper procedures.

I can name a few Key advantages of hiring A Cleaning Person Or Company That Has Passed The IJCSA RCS Certification. Firstly, we are more equipped to clean any space, place or outdoor facility that require our services.

The training we receive through the study material and exams taken to get us certified has extensive detailed teachings and course materials to ensure that we are professional at all times.

Secondly, IJCSA members with their training, have the opportunity now to train their employees to now follow requirements for chemical usage, and proper cleaning techniques on any job required to complete.

Thirdly, because our network is so huge and filled with options, you can choose any cleaning company here and still get guaranteed cleaning services, best practices, safety as our priority and so much more.
