Being Green Cleaning Certified will benefit my business in a multitude of ways.  Now that people are becoming more aware of the negative health and environmental impact that toxic chemicals can have, they're more conscientious of what they do and use around their home. By being Green Cleaning Certified, customers can feel like they're doing their part in protecting the environment because it will be known that I won't use single-use plastic in their home that could put the environment at risk. Not only that, but I will also be keeping them and their family safer by not using harsh chemicals that could be hazardous to their health.

Being Green Cleaning Certified also will benefit my business because it's another service to be offered, sure to meet many customers' needs and wants. It appeals to many people and stands out as a reason to hire us instead of another cleaning business. The more services that we can offer as a professional business that may entice new customers and more sales, the better.

Green Cleaning Certification can prove as a benefit to my business in the way that it will show that I truly care. Not only do I care about what the customer wants, but I care enough about them to take action in ensuring I'm not risking their health and do what I can to protect the environment from further damage. The career choice I made in becoming a cleaning business owner was not just about making money, but in providing services that can benefit all of my customers and even the environment.  This certification shows that.

Finally, providing services to customers as a Green Cleaning Certified cleaner can benefit my business because I'll actually be saving money by not buying brand name, toxic-chemical based cleaners. It will be more cost-efficient for me to make my own cleaners. When buying brand name cleaners, you're mostly paying for the label.  When I can effectively clean a home in the same amount of time, with the same amount of elbow grease, using cleaners that I made myself for a third of the amount it would have cost to buy a different cleaner for each room, I'll be saving money, the environment, and still providing quality cleaning. Vinegar, citric acid, water, baking soda, and washing soda are listed in the article as safer homemade substitutions for cleaning chemicals, and will to be some of the main the ingredients that I use to make cleaners for different areas of the home, taking the place of toxic things like bleach, ammonia, and furniture polish.

Medical cleaning practices are very strict in the sense that there are rules to follow when it comes to the cleaning. Since medical facilities need to be properly clean to avoid patient getting sick medical cleaning practices can benefit residential and commercial places. The majority of people won’t be familiar with some of the rules and proper methods went dealing with cleaning chemical.

Some of those standards can help other residential and commercial situations in the sense that if they can implement a higher standard of cleaning there would be less people getting sick. There would be a lower number of people calling in sick to work and to school. Medical cleaning practices implementation at home can also help you avoid going to the doctor because of bacteria’s or virus that could have been avoidable if we were to do a deeper cleaning with the right cleaning chemicals.

A good idea to implement is to have a higher standardized level of cleaning for all types of situations, for homes and work places. By implementing medical cleaning practices across the board we can have a better control when it comes to people getting sick. According to the CDC, cleaning alone effectively reduces the number of microorganisms on contaminated equipment. Now imagine having the knowledge to use the correct chemicals it can really impact us in a good way.

Now, that we are in a pandemic cleaning is crucial and knowing and implementing the high standards of medical cleaning can keep a better control of the spread. For example, knowing that we should clean with color rags that way we are not cross contaminating areas and knowing about how to correctly use chemical that can kill harmful virus and germs. Using green, eco-friendly cleaning products can improve the air quality, reduce health and environmental concerns and sets the standard for environmentally responsible behavior. Contributing to a well thought out green cleaning practice will benefit not only client, but it will also ensure that you are reducing your impact on the environment. Your clients will appreciate this and maybe even start using green cleaning products themselves! green cleaning service directory

To implement a good green cleaning service program you must first conduct an audit of the facility or area in which you have been hired to clean. This will help you assess which areas need the most improvement and build a comprehensive plan around this. Next is to train the cleaning staff with the use of chemical and equipment handling and cleaning procedures. Afterwards, review the progress to make sure the green cleaning program is successful and implement any changes.

It is of the upmost importance to establish and maintain safe cleaning practices, protocols, and plans as you encounter them when dealing with any type of chemicals and such and especially Bloodborne pathogens. As the video states a plan should be established and checked annually to ensure it is up to date and accurate.  Ensuring this one practice is completed will be an immense help to ensuring safety protocols are in place.

Ensuring safety protocols are established and follow via and annual plan is just the beginning and is a daily work and endeavor that is imperative to keep staff safe. Ensuring that cleaning employees understand the importance of these simple practices is critical in maintaining the safety of employees and patients when applicable.

Bloodborne Pathogens can seem like a daunting concept to understand and maintain; however, when simple tasks are established it is more easily manageable. The video was extremely enlightening and I enjoyed how simple it was to understand so these practices can be appropriately incorporated into daily operations.

It is extremely important for employees and staff to know and understand the importance of Bloodborne pathogens. Knowing how to use universal precautions by assuming all bloodborne pathogens are infected by performing protective practices, keeps employees and staff safe. All staff and employees benefit from knowing the proper procedures to clean and disinfect the contaminated area. Having the the proper training and knowledge of who to contact when exposed to bloodborne pathogens could be the difference between life and death.

Diseases that can be found in bloodborne pathogens, include, but are not limited to: Hepatitis B (HBV) and Human Immunodeficiency Syndrome (HIV).  These pathogenic microorganism can be exposed to the human body through, mucous membrane. This is why universal precautions should always be used when handling bloodborne pathogens, assuming it is contaminated to avoid possible spread and exposure of any possible diseases.

Protective practices like wearing PPE, having and using color coded labeling of bags and bins, and disinfecting any tools used to disinfect the area, helps to avoid any careless acts of spreading the bloodborne pathogens outside of the contained area. After removing gloves, hands should be washed immediately. Employees and staff all should be aware that if they believe they have been exposed, immediately contact their supervisor and physician.

Having the training and knowledge of how to properly handle bloodborne pathogens is a very important part of cleaning and should always be handled properly by cleaning staff and employees.  We come in contact with these situations more often than most. Not knowing how to handle bloodborne pathogens could be detrimental to the employee and staff’s health.

Below are four reasons you should consider a certified commercial cleaner

    1) Education- they know what they are doing. The education requirement to become a IJCSA certified residential cleaner is quite a bit for most people.  This education is easier for some than others is focused around chemical safety, heath considerations, proper PPE and knowing when to use certain techniques to give a show room finish.

    2) Chemical Safety Chemical safety is paramount to an IJCSA member's ability to serve the customer.  The key advantage to the IJSCA is the information on green cleaning approaches and the consideration of the environment when cleaning.  Everyone is capable of cleaning, but are they capable of leaving a safer environment when they are done?

    3) Consistent Approach - Attention to Detail Because the training of the IJSCA is so detailed, you are able to know the cleaner has been trained on the little things.  The bottom of the refrigerator is an often overlooked area.  Another is the sliding glass door.  These ares are left in a condition that you know attention was paid, and a checklist was followed thoroughly.

    4) Ability to Solve Problems

IJCSA members have a unique ability to solve problems faced by the day to day activies.  For instance a residential cleaner will have knowledge of carpet cleaning solutions.  In many cases, the cleaner can help you set up an appointment and give you ideas on how to deal with an issue before it escalates into a much bigger issue.

The IJCSA is a group of people committed to making indoor air quality better by using safe chemistries, reducing pathogens and dust.  While improving the overall quality of life for folks by providing a clean environment.  We will strive to ensure you are happy with our service, we will continue to work with our partner companies to improve the service, and if you have any suggestions for improvement we would be glad to hear about how we can improve.

While there are many places to locate certified residential cleaners in your area, there are not many directories that you can trust to provide you with trained specialists. Locating someone that knows how to clean an area is much easier than finding someone that you would trust to appropriately apply cleaner to areas in your home. Experience is great, but specialized training drives home the idea of safety in a residential setting and the legal issues with avoiding damage to your personal items.

Hiring a cleaning service that is not properly trained can also result in the improper use of cleaning practices, time wasted, and a higher direct cost for you as the customer. Taking the time to select and pay a company to provide services, only to have them not deliver to expectations can be a grueling processes. It can not only leave you disappointed in the cleaning process, but it can also scar you from wanting cleaning services in the future.

Ensuring proper training for your cleaning company can also minimize injuries (and insurance claims) in your home and foster a better working relationship  between you and the people tasked with keeping your home safe and clean. Having a company that is insured is great, but would it not be better to locate companies that don't rely on their insurance to mitigate mistakes within your home? Selecting a company that has taken it upon themselves to expand their education in their industry should be top priority anytime that you are trusting someone to enter your home.

The IJCSA is an industry leader in training for the cleaning profession. They put in the extra hours to provide trusted services to their customers. They learn from others in the industry and communicate with professionals from around the world to expand and showcase their expertise. It might be difficult to locate a reputable cleaning company that is committed to providing reasonably priced residential and commercial cleaning services. It's now simpler than ever for customers to have a tidy house without going over budget when they locate cleaning services that will work with them to customize to their unique cleaning plan.

The scope of work varies for each cleaning task, so before making a reservation with a certain firm, take into account the services they provide. Examine the kind of cleaning supplies and tools that the firm employs when you narrow down your options for a cleaning service. If using environmentally friendly cleaning supplies is essential to you, for example, you may ask the firm about it. Even more environmentally friendly services are available from some companies.

When choosing the best cleaning service for you, consider the kinds of tools and supplies that the business employs.  When you let our staff handle your house cleaning, you'll have more time for anything you want to do, like relax, read, or binge-watch your favorite shows in a clean and organized home, all while appreciating the fact that nothing had to be done by you.

Employing a cleaning business that has earned the IJCSA RCS Certification guarantees that you will work with a team that regularly produces high-quality services by utilizing cutting-edge techniques and tools. How Important Are Janitors & Janitorial Staff To Our Daily Lives

Janitors are extremely important to our day to day lives. Just think without janitors, going to the hospitals with bodily fluids and trash everywhere. I can tell you now that you would probably walk out. Or what about going to the grocery store and seeing trash and old food all over the floor, again you would probably walk out.

Janitors make up the back ground of the world but without janitors the world would be a complete mess. Mostly every company in the world that allows customer access to their facility should understand that customer service starts with a clean waiting area.  If you agree, you are at the right place. Please see IJCSA's Janitorial Service Directory- https://www.ijcsa.org/Janitorial-Service-Directory-Find-A-Janitorial-Service-JanitorialServices for all your janitorial needs.

Before I let you go, you should understand when go to the bank, gym, store, or even events that it take a lot of effort from great men and women to have cleaned up the place so you could enjoy the best experiences of your lives.   Please see a janitor, thank a janitor.
