    Doing work as an EVS employee throughout the casino industries showed me how important it is understand and utilize great customer service skills. working in that type of environment i've come to notice that you encounter different people everyday and majority will always have an issue or complaint about the property, and knowing that it is our jobs to take care of the guest and help with a solution to give the guest an exciting experience while visiting the property. The IJCSA Customer Service Training Course helped me to understand these grey areas and also helped me connect with guest to better their needs and to properly handle different situations that may occur during their stay. This course is designed to provide us who are apart of the IJCSA a more professional outlook when in communication with a guest as well as how to approach and identify certain issues that are brought to you. The importance of this tool is to learn how to tend to the needs of all customers and guest when engaged, and keep consistency there on after. This Customer Service Certification Course along with many has helped me become a way better employer/employee to provide better service for our many guests and clients, and with the knowledge gained from this training I will put a smile on repeat, engage with eye contact to let them know they have your attention, empathize by asking questions related to their issues and solve problems while providing clarity.     Implementing medical cleaning practices in residential and commercial cleaning can only improve your success in reducing or eliminating the spread of germs or viruses.     Cleaning companies need to implement the importance of customer service. Your customers are what makes the company, a company! You should always greet customers or potential customers with a smile. 

    IJCSA customer training course has helped tremendously to understand how to handle angry customers, how to greet the customers, and how to keep them. IJCSA Customer training course has helped me to implement these strategies to my employees. Customers should always be greeted with a smile along with eye contact. Customers should be heard and understood. Finding a solution and clarifying is very important for both the employee and the client, so their are no misunderstandings or miscommunication.

    When people get sick or injured, they visit medical facilities to see a health professional to help them out with their condition. The last thing patients want to happen to them is to get sicker due to a contamination exposure because medical facilities have not been thoroughly cleaned, or their janitorial services that operates their facilities have not been trained properly on environmental cleaning.

     All cleaning employees should be trained and certified for Bloodborne Pathogens. With all the different infectious disease's the world is dealing with today, it's important that we know how to handle infected equipment and correctly clean and disinfect possible infected areas to prevent the spread of any disease's. 

     Bloodborne Pathogens spread by bodily fluids and sometimes saliva from an infected person to the bloodstream of an un-infected person through an open wound. With that being said, PPE is a must while cleaning a possible infected area. Disposing of contaminated PPE in the correct colored and labeled bag or container is critical. 

     In all, OSHA requires employees to be trained and informed of the importance of Bloodborne Pathogens in the workplace. Infected Microorganisms can easily spread if not cleaned and disinfected properly.

     Cleaning employees & staff should know about bloodborne pathogens to protect themselves and others in and outside the workspace. Being knowledgeable about risks to exposure can help eliminate life threatening illnesses and serious infections. Education staff members can create an overall safer, healthier workplace for staff. Being aware of how bloodborne pathogens are contracted in the workspace and prevention procedures are the first step to protecting workspaces.

    Cleaning employees have a first chance to eliminate and lessen the risk of exposure in the workplace by practicing safe techniques. Proper collection of waste that has been compromised by blood borne pathogens help to eliminate risk of infection. It can also eliminate or minimize the risk of exposure from those who come into contact with waste after it is collected and disposed of.

    After a cleaning employee or staff is exposed, knowing about bloodborne pathogens can help in staff knowing how to respond properly. Responding properly and in a timely manner can make the difference between a worker having a lifelong infection or getting the right treatment to minimize the chances.     How You Can Implement Medical Cleaning Practices Into Other Residential & Commercial Cleaning Situations

    Medical Cleaning Practices are a valuable tool to help protect people from harmful bacteria, germs, and viruses.  These practices include (but are not limited to) things such as practicing Universal Precautions, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and understanding how to mitigate cross contamination.

    Most of the methods and practices used in Medical Cleaning can be applied to residential and commercial cleaning situations.  For example, having a color-coded system that indicates to the janitorial staff what towels are to be used for which areas works just as well in offices and residential areas as medical facilities.  This can help mitigate the chances of cross contamination, or taking germs from one area (say a bathroom) and spreading them to another (general office areas). 

    Another useful practice in medical cleaning that should be implemented in residential and commercial cleaning is the proper use of PPE.  Just as janitors and cleaning staff should use a separate pair of gloves in each medical patient’s room, the same should be applied to all restrooms in office buildings and residential homes.  This will only help lower the chances of spreading germs from one place to another. 

    Bloodborne Pathogens can be encountered in commercial and residential cleaning situations just like in medical facilities.  It may not be as common, but the training and practice of taking Universal Precautions is still important when it comes to cleaning non-medical spaces.

         Green cleaning in the workplace is an important part of caring for a business. In order to achieve a good green cleaning program, we as a company can focus on reviewing the chemicals contained in certain cleaning products and making sure they are not harmful to employees and the environment. We can make the gradual transfer into green cleaning by replacing some cleaning supplies with green versions of them that have the same quality of performance. 

          In addition to buying these green products, the company can replace any harmful products currently used when indoors. Keeping areas clean--even the smallest places--with natural substances will reduce the amount of toxicity in the air. Putting these natural products to use will be very important to making a green atmosphere. By doing this, we can add to the transition into a green cleaning program.

    I have been working in the MRI field for 37 years and have seen what body fluids are left on the table and in the bore for weeks at a time. In most facilities there is no one who is tasked with the cleaning for a MRI scanner. It take a highly skilled individual or group to maintain a clean system. Most sites depend on the technologists to keep it clean.

    In my literature reading. I have found many sites who have encountered patients who mysteriously end up with some kind of pathogen and can not trace the source. Many times I would suggest check the MRI or CT scanner table and bore. 

    I opened my service to provide sites with this protection that at least once a month I will come in and do a deep clean that will help the working technologist to keep the areas clean that they work in.
