Being Green Cleaning Certified comes with a lot of benefits and advantages such as the correct knowledge of which chemicals are toxic and which are natural as well as how to use these natural cleaners safely. This will greatly help me choose which cleaners I use and keep everyone safe while cleaning. For example, I now know that many household cleaners I use contain toxic ingredients and are also harmful to the environment.  Having this knowledge of harmful or toxic chemicals is imperative to having a safe and healthy work environment. 

I can now clean with peace of mind that I'm not harming myself, others, or the environment when I use green cleaners. The production and use of these harmful cleaners like bleach, ammonia, and other everyday cleaners, greatly harm not only humans but the the world we live in too. Making and using these products releases toxic chemicals into the environment and onto the people who handle them. Over time this becomes extremely detrimental to the earth and humans.

However, we now have the technology and research to create natural cleaners that work just as well as the synthetic ones. Now, we can all clean while keeping ourselves and the environment healthy. With this certification, I can now educate others about the harmful effects of the cleaners they use everyday. Additionally, I can inform them about some natural substitutes to the toxic cleaners on the market today.

Having this knowledge of green cleaning and toxic chemicals will help me not only at work but also in my everyday life. I can now identify which cleaners have toxic ingredients and which are natural. Additionally, I now know how to make my own natural cleaner with the items in my home. Being green cleaning certified will greatly improve the way I clean at work and at home.
