The janitorial staff is amongst the most important and crucial members of any organization, without properly trained janitors most companies loose profits every quarter and never figure out why. Here's 2 examples how companies loose money by not having a properly trained janitorial staff like IJCSA members:
Company sickness - Many offices have a cleaning company that comes in on a regular basis. They empty the rubbish, wash windows, dust, sweep, mop, and anything else that your company wants to pay them for. However, they don't take the time to clean & disinfect high touch areas or even worst they're not using the correct chemicals or equipment. If you want to accomplish that feat, you are pretty much on your own.
If your office has a very high rate of people getting sick with colds and the flu, talk to your cleaning crew find out if they have been properly trained and certified by a reputable organization such as IJCSA . Make sure they understand just how important it is to keep each office clean & sanitized. It can lead to employees feeling better and that will result in fewer sick days and more productivity.
Floods & Water Damage - Usually most floods and water damage happens after hours when the all a companies employees are gone for the day, usually the first person to find water damage is the janitorial staff. If the janitorial staff has been trained properly they will know exactly what to do and who to contact in case of emergency.
